[Bug 27109] Re: nautilus uses 100% cpu after closing a ssh session
Hi I got the same trouble with Gutsy, but I figured out that, when I Close or Umount the SSH connections, Nautilus comes down to normal. It looks like Nautilus tries to keep the SSH connections alive spending 100% of CPU power. Sad thing is, that I now always need to Reconfigure the connection to the SSH server. cheers Claus -- nautilus uses 100% cpu after closing a ssh session https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/27109 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 141325] printout from evince blurry
You have been subscribed to a public bug: I run Ubuntu Gutsy 32bit. I create a pdf using LyX + pdflatex. The pdf file displays ok in evince. When I print it, the text is very blurry, equations are ok. When I open this pdf file in kpdf, it displays and prints ok. When I compile another TeX file using pdflatex without LyX in between, it displays and prints ok using both evince and kpdf. This all is independent of printer, prints so even to another pdf. The original lyx file, pdf file and pdf generated by 'Print to file' are attached. ** Affects: evince (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Confirmed -- printout from evince blurry https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/141325 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for evince in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 141325] Re: printout from evince blurry
Note that this bug does NOT occur on Debian. I had the inverse case: trash icon was displaying properly the situation (showing full and mouseover provides increasing number of newly deleted items) but the .Trash directory remained empty. [Bug 78470] Re: switching to current logged in user freezes gdm
I confirm this bug too, i get the white screen of death when i logout from a second account while leaving the first one logged out. I can login back to the first account by blindly typing the password of the account. People here have suggested pressing Ctrl+Alt+Backspace to restart the GUI Shell, but the alternative i suggest is pressing ALT+S at the white screen which will reload only the Login screen and thus you will not lose any work from the account which is locked. [Bug 163870] Move to folder dialog hard to navigate by keyboard
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution Hi, When bringing up the Move to folder dialog on a message using shift+ctrl+v the first entry is 'half-selected' (with the dotted outline, rather than the highlight). It is very hard to change this to select another folder with the keyboard. Up and down keys do nothing. The best remedy I currently have is to pgdown a couple of times, and then I can use up and down to select the desired folder. It would be great if up and down would work straight away. Thanks, James ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Move to folder dialog hard to navigate by keyboard https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/163870 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for evolution in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
