[Bug 16472] Re: Login Screen Resolution
@Big_Rog, I'm suffereing from the exact same problem you're describing. I have the same Failsafe sections in xorg.conf and the login screen resolution is larger than will fit on the screen. Would you mind elabourating on how you fixed the issue? What do you mean exactly when you say you replaced the Failsafe sections? For the devs: This issue appeared when upgrading from 7.10 to 8.04 and although I'm now using the respos. nVidia drivers, I have previously used drivers from the nVidia site. -- Login Screen Resolution https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/16472 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 226744] Re: nautilus segfaults when attempting to view sftp mapped directory
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or challenging to deal with as a .crash file. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. If you are using Ubuntu with the Gnome desktop environment - launch nautilus and navigate to your /var/crash directory and double click on the crash report you wish to submit. You might need to enable apport in /etc/defaults/apport and restart to get the crash registered If you are using Kubuntu or Xubuntu you can file the crash using /usr/share/apport/apport-qt --crash-file=/var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash in a terminal - where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report. I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. [Bug 204775] Re: selecting gnome panel intlclock causes top bar and many other things to not respond
Evgeny: We only put approved stuff into hardy-proposed, i. e. packages which are actually meant to reach -updates after 7 days. Could someone modify the ntfs-3g package so that the hack is directly implemented when the fstab is written? When it's possible we always workaround in bugs in applications but I'm sorry to say, we can't do it this time. [Bug 226827] [NEW] Two single clicks accepted as double-click
You have been subscribed to a public bug: Several apps accept two single clicks as a double-click. (I take a double-click to mean two clicks on the same object within a certain--short--time.) Examples: 1. Nautilus: Open a window in list view, click on a file (or folder) and quickly click on the file above it. (You need to be rather quick to do this within the double-click interval. You can increase this interval in System - Preferences - Mouse.) This opens the second file. 2. Compiz Expo applet: Hit Super-E to activate the Expo applet. Click on a workspace and quickly click on an adjacent workspace. (You don't have to be quite as quick for this one, as the default double-click interval for the Expo applet is longer.) This activates the second workspace and quits the applet. In both cases, the first click is accepted as a single click (the file or workspace is selected), the second click is accepted as a double- click on the second object (the file is opened, the workspace becomes active). This is not the expected result, as a double-click should only be registered when two clicks occur on the *same* object within the double-click interval. This might be a GNOME bug. If anyone could test this on KDE, that would be great! I am using Ubuntu 8.04 LTS hardy heron (updated from 7.10 gutsy gibbon). ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Two single clicks accepted as double-click https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/226827 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 203722] Re: Double clicking on Floppy Drive gives an error (Unable to mount location) despite it's mounted but not opened in Hardy RC
** Description changed: Ubuntu Hardy RC.
