[Bug 287412] [NEW] Impossible to change FLAC Vorbis Tags using Rhythmbox
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox Hi, I am updating the tags of almost every files in my music library using Rythmbox : I right-click on a song or a selection of songs, then properties and in Basic I change Title, Artist, Album... fields. That works perfectly for all my MP3 files but NOT for my FLAC files. When I change the tags of a FLAC file under Rhythmbox, the changes seem to be saved : on the library the tags are correct and the songs are sorted in the right Genre, Artist and Album (using the function Browse to have the 2 or 3 panes like in ITunes). BUT if I close Rythmbox and restart it, the FLAC files appear with their old tags, the ones I have tried to modify. Looking at the files properties into Nautilus shows that the tags are not modified or SAVED in the file. I have to use EasyTAG 2.1.4 to be able to change the tags of my FLAC files and that works perfectly. Then I think it is a bug : the writing/updating of FLAC tags does not work in Rhythmbox. Thank you. [Bug 241206] Re: On Hardy screen saver never displays
I can confirm that this is happening on my Hardy laptop. It didn't used to happen on Hardy, but now does. The screen saver looks like it's going to kick in, but then at the last moment it stops and the screen appears as before. This also prevents power saving (like turning off the screen). If I lock the screen, the screen saver seems to work normally, including turning off the screen. It almost seems like as the screen saver is engaging, it thinks detects a keypress or mouse movement and thinks it should not screen save. When I lock the screen, it immediately brings up the password box to unlock it, as if I had pressed a key or moved the mouse. -- On Hardy screen saver never displays https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/241206 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-screensaver in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evince evince 2.24.1-0ubuntu1 I have a landscape pdf (that I will attach) and I want to print it 4 pages per sheet in a landscape sheet with normal settings left to right, top to bottom I get a page like this: 1 2 3 4 which of course is not what I'm looking for, because it's a landscape page and when I turn it -90° it becomes 24 13 So I change the page ordering to right to left, top to bottom but I obtain exactly the same output. [Bug 287082] Re: Cannot go back to higher resolution after setting virtual resolution
Yesterday, after reporting, I noticed that the 2305x1024 virtual resolution should be enough for setting 1280x1024. Today I tested again with the same laptop and projector and noticed that xorg.conf looks different: SubSection Display Virtual 2640 768 EndSubSection I must have copied from the wrong xorg.conf backup.
