[Bug 362736] [NEW] Nautilus shows wrong file copying progress indication
Public bug reported: When I copy files to my USB stick in Nautilus, the progress information shows wrong file size and estimated time. Thanks for your answer. My problem was to start XCompMgr (composition manager) before the softwares that need it, i.e. Avant Window Navigator. I've solved it by launching the command from the .gnomerc file. As far as I understand, there is a launch order for these launcher scripts (.gnomerc, autostart.sh and so on), so it can be a workaround in some cases. [Bug 272083] Re: Zenity windows appear underneath others
This patch seems to be rather large for the change in question, I wonder if each of the changes is necessary or if this change is overreaching? The upstream bug linked here points out that having the pop-ups steal the focus, which I believe is the result of this change, will /also/ make people unhappy; I think what you ideally want here is for the window to open on top, but to not steal the focus? But neither the existing behavior, nor this change, give you that. I'm concerned about changing the behavior of this program so blatantly, so shortly before release. Mario, would it still meet your needs for mythbuntu if this change landed as an SRU instead, to give it more time to bake? -- Zenity windows appear underneath others https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/272083 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Same issue here on Dell mini9 running Ubuntu 904 release candidate with netbook remix. Recording to ogg results in just a few clicks. [Bug 362872] [NEW] Track Disapear after editing properties until restart of Rhythmbox
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox I've notice that trackes are disapearing from the list when editing properties of a song. How to reproduce: 1. Find a song with Unknown as Track number (for example but it can be reproduce as well with Title, Artist or Album). 2. Edit the properties of that song. 3. On the Track number field change the Unknown by 1 (or what ever number you want) 4. Close the properties and wait 1 or 2 sec, you should notice that the track is not visible anymore. (the bug is at this step as I believe that the file shouldn't disappear) 5. If you close Rhythmbox and reopen it the file is back with the track number memorized.
