[Bug 586200] [NEW] Can't Add New Contacts When Offline from MS Exchange Server
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution Whilst using a locally synchronized contacts folder associated with an MS Exchange Server in off-line mode, I am not able to add new contacts. I get a message inaccurately saying that I am trying to move a contact from one address book to another and that it can't be removed from the source. I am asked whether to copy instead of move. If I say no, I return to the data entry form ie. nil result. If I say yes, I get another error message saying; Error Adding Contact. Repository offline. Either way, the contact cannot be saved. If I resume online mode, the contact can be saved. 0) The package is Evolution 2.28.3 1) The release of Ubuntu is 10.04. 2) The version of the package is : 2.28.3-0ubuntu9 3) What you expected to happen? I expected the new contact record to be saved locally, and then added to the MS Exchange files later when online mode was available. 4) What happened instead: see notes above ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Can't Add New Contacts When Offline from MS Exchange Server https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/586200 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 520118] Re: thunar select freezes after using mouse to select folders (detailed view mode)
I mentioned that after the proposed updates thunar was working but slower than usual. Renaming .gnome2 seems to have fixed it; the newly generated .gnome2 directory has returned the speed that was there. Still having two weird issues since the updates: - unable to automount usb flash drives or dvd data discs - when my trash is full and I go to delete it, I get some message that a file cannot be deleted. It does delete though I don't suppose anyone can suggest the names of any other config directories to try and rename so they get recreated. It seems to be some issue to with the volume manager but I don't want to file a new bug when no one else is experiencing it. -- thunar select freezes after using mouse to select folders (detailed view mode) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/520118 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gtk+2.0 in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

I'm sorry if my description was not clear. Mouse-clicking works, but keyboard inputs don't work (except Ctrl+Alt+Del) and any popup menu (such as main menu on the desktop panel, main menu of an application, context menu when right-clicking) doesn't popup, but it retrieves the clicking (showed by the change of its background color when it's clicked).
