[Bug 631696] Re: maximus should only run in netbook-session and not start in gnome-session
@Oliver, I agree with Martin-Éric that I want Maximus to auto-start in a normal desktop session if installed. I currently use it on a small screen in a gnome desktop session without UNE or Window Picker. If maximus appeared in the gnome-session-properties list (Startup Applications), it could easily be disabled if not wanted. -- maximus should only run in netbook-session and not start in gnome-session https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/631696 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-session in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 657303] [NEW] gnome-about-me changing password doesn't work proper (encrypted home)
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center Hi, I installed two days ago the desktop computer of my father with Ubuntu 10.10. I enabled the encrypted home directory and set a dummy password. After that my father starts to use his brand new computer. One of the first things he did was changing his password, doing this trough System-Preferences-About me. But starting the next day, the decryption of his home directory failed. After I bring back the password to the dummy password every thing works well. Thanks for reading, I hope you can help. It's impossible to move away/delete/close. 3) A mount error appear Error mounting: mount: /devmmcblk0p1: can't read superblock, 4) Then I cannot work on the desktop, like opening folder like Examples or showing desktop right-click menu. The panel menus instead works correctly. + 4) Then I cannot work on the desktop, like opening folder like Examples, showing desktop right-click menu or closing a nautilus window opened in Places-Home for example. The panel menus instead work correctly, I can click on them. 5) I tried to connect via 3G Internet Key to report the problem, I can established a connection but I can't connect to a site using firefox (it stucks on Looking up www.etc.) The only way to make things work is to log out and in again. [Bug 352699] Re: Brightness up/down key sensibility on fujitsu u9200
Hi, Fabio I've installed and tested a CLI (text-only) sytem, so there are no g-p-m or X installed. So, it's not directly connected to X or g-p-m, it's something else, I think. -- Brightness up/down key sensibility on fujitsu u9200 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/352699 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
