[Bug 668648] [NEW] empathy system tray icon doesn't minimize the application
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: empathy When empathy is minimized I can click on the system tray icon and it maximizes, showing my contacts list. But, when it's maximized, clicking on the system tray icon doesn't minimize it :S (nothing happens). To minimize it to tray icon I have to close the contacts list window by clicking on the X of the menu. It would be useful if clicking on the icon actually minimizes the application. I don't know if it's a bug or belongs to the wishing list. Thanks in advance. Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel Hello, Everytime I logout/login in the gnome environment the applets in the gnome panel are duplicated : - I have two instances of each one of them. - Trying to remove one of them, removes both instance of the same applet - After removing and readding the applet, they still are duplicated on session restart even with proper logout. I have the following applets loaded in the top panel : System Monitor, CPU frequency monitor (two instances, one per core, and that's the only one for which I expect two instances), Notification area, Clock and Session Notification. To reproduce : - add a new applet - logout - login again - the applet is loaded twice. I'm running a dual screen system (:0.0 and :0.1). This happens only on my first screen (:0.0). The system was upgraded from 10.04, but I was not using gnome before so I don't know if this was an issue on 10.04. When I run a KDE app (Kubrick for instance) the Radiance theme isn't correctly applied. It is most noticeable when I look at tooltips; they should be white on black, but instead the text colour is a very dark grey, making tooltips unreadable. The toolbar also isn't the right colour. Found out that both memory sticks I had refuse to work at all if I format them with a FAT filesystem (without encryption, of course) if I try to use them with a Windows or a SunOs engine. My Gnome keyring asks for the password twice. This started when upgrading from Lucid 10.04 to Maverick 10.10. Upon upgrading from Karmic to Lucid, the keyring would pop-up once upon startup or logoff/login, now I receive 2 pop-up boxes requesting a password upon a startup or logoff/login. I utilize automatic login since I am the only user. I tried to use manual login, but that did not correct the situation. Lavinog has succinctly stated the issues I face too. I work with this graphic tool in ubu 8.10 perfectly in this machine The problem appears with the instalation of ubu 10.10 I have two operating systems : ubu 8.10 and ubu 10.10 in this machine . Its not practice restart the pc for changing the operating system for work whit the net tools in graphic mode Sorry for my bad english!
