[Bug 563226] Re: Nautilus Ctrl+Q to close all windows instead of Ctrl+Shift+W
Hi, Given the Q and W are close to each other, wouldn't it be possible to have a confirmation dialog before closing all nautilus windows. Hitting CTRL+Q instead of W is just a bad surprise when you work with lots of nautilus windows (one workaround is to 'pkill nautilus' to restore nautilus windows session state, except that gnome-session can register the windows state only on logout). [Bug 751101] Re: mms: links don't open in totem
There's actually multiple bugs here. The only Firefox bug is that you even get offered to open mms links in totem at all, because totem doesn't have x-scheme-handler/mms defined in its desktop file. Once bug 727372 is fixed, Firefox will (correctly) display an error message saying Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (mms) isn't associated with any program. If totem can handle mms links, it needs to declare this in its desktop file (which is a totem bug). Thunderbird only works because it is still using gnomevfs, which is deprecated anyway and will stop working in the future too (but we will have proper gio support then). ** Package changed: firefox (Ubuntu) = totem (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: totem (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = Low -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to totem in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/751101 Title: mms: links don't open in totem -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 740818] Re: Can't set Keyboard layout at installation and later on
I've just tried to install Ubuntu Beta-1 server (AMD 64) and it is even worse. Now I do not have the option to select the keyboard when installing. If I try to go back in the installation and select Configure the Keyboard, it does ignore my selection and goes back to set the partition... [Bug 732410] Re: flac decoding is broken in some manner for gstreamer
Apologies, some parts of my comment (#2) seemed to have gone missing. I also wanted to add that I tried all kind of settings in /etc/pulse/daemon.pa and all kinds of 'fixes' for pulseaudio and non of them worked. Since both VLC and mplayer have no problems with the playback and the diagnostics of post #1 are the same as mine, I subscrib to the idea that likely gst-plugins-good is the culprit. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gst-plugins-good0.10 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/732410 Title: flac decoding is broken in some manner for gstreamer -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
