[Bug 754341] [NEW] Gnome desktop does not show icons
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel After upgrading from 10.10 to 11.04 about 5 days ago, things went well. Even though I could not log in with the Unity as the desktop, I was able to continue with the Ubuntu Classic option which inlcudes gnome desktop. Then, 3 days ago I updated using the update-manager and the login theme and the desktop theme changed, to the worse since no icons are being shown (see attached screenshot). [Bug 754553] [NEW] Evolution re-send old mails sometimes when sending new mails.
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution Hi, It’s been about a month that I’ve this problem. I haven’t found the exact way to reproduce it, but it appears relatively often. It appears each time when I send a mail. The outbox, initialy empty, is then filled by the mail I’ve just compose, which is normal, but sometimes with other old mails. Then these mails are sent. Thus I’ve sent through Evolution some mails more than one time. At each time this happens, the old mails is sent with exactly the same properties as the old one: for instance the sent date writen in the “new old mail” is the same as the old one. (The sent date writen in the mail through the field “Date”, not the real sending date.) The containing text is of course the same. I’ve tested it without connection and it sometimes “works” too. (But then I’ve expenrienced no problem in erasing them… But they were still created in the outbox!) It’s a bit problematic for me to have this bug now. If you need some other information, you can of course ask. Thanks! Martin. [Bug 747331] Re: crashed on pet society
Thank you for using Ubuntu and taking the time to report a bug. Your report should contain, at a minimum, the following information so we can better find the source of the bug and work to resolve it. Submitting the bug about the proper source package is essential. For help see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage . Additionally, in the report please include: 1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'cat /etc/lsb-release' or System - About Ubuntu. 2) The version of the package you are using, via 'dpkg -l PKGNAME | cat' or by checking in Synaptic. 3) What happened and what you expected to happen. The Ubuntu community has also created debugging procedures for a wide variety of packages at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures . Following the debugging instructions for the affected package will make your bug report much more complete. [Bug 754596] [NEW] Preferences Screen and General Resolution Off screen (too Big)
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution Screen Resolution 1024x600. Drivers properly installed and working correctly for ALL other applications. GMA500 Video and Poulsubo Drivers correctly compiled and istalled. MSI Wind U110 ECO, Ubuntu 10.10 Netbook Preferences pages to not properly poll the actual screen resolution when opening. Certain actions in Calendar, Tasks, Mail and Preference pages cause all other resolutions to pull this improperly polled value. Once this happens, screen resolution scaling is incorrectly set too large causing the lower 1/2 of the screen and menus to be unusable until application is closed and re-opened. Main preferences screen is ALWAYS improperly polled, making setup impossible. Clearly there is an improperly assigned value in these resolutions instead of them correctly polling based on the number of people having issues with this and the variety of screen resolutions under which this occurs. PLEASE FIX THIS, it goes all the way back to 2.x.x. Thanks.
