[Bug 765595] [NEW] gnome-settings-daemon crashed on printing, BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-settings-daemon Got the following in .xsession_errors when printing to printer that was offline at the time. Ubuntu theming disappeared as result, window decorations reset to gnome defaults. The program 'gnome-settings-daemon' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. [Bug 765398] Re: PyGObject 2.28.3 breaks ABI
Unfortunately the release of pygobject 2.28.4 was a bit premature, as it removed the workaround for the broken GLib.Variant.new_variant. This was only fixed in the yet unreleased g-i upstream git head, and not fixed at all in glib itself yet. Thus using the pygobject 2.28.4 release with the latest releases of glib and g-i is currently broken still. I'll just cherrypick the patch for this then. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to pygobject in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/765398 Title: PyGObject 2.28.3 breaks ABI -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

It is Bad State indeed, I guess this happens during the time it tries to reconnect to pulseaudio, so I would call this fixed with my latest additions to the branch, as we would need to remove the streams/sinks/etc outside of the idle_reconnect, and I'm not sure what the effect would be. [Bug 754005] Re: Rhythmbox crashes when adding/deleting files in iPod
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or challenging to deal with as a .crash file. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. If you are running the Ubuntu Stable Release you might need to enable apport in /etc/default/apport and restart. Now open your file manager, navigate to your /var/crash directory and open the crash report you wish to submit. If this fails you will have to open a terminal and file your report with 'ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash' where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report. If you get an error that you aren't allowed to access this report you will have to file it with 'sudo ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash'. I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and understanding. ** Changed in: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/754005 Title: Rhythmbox crashes when adding/deleting files in iPod -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 748804] Re: rythmbox crashes few second after opening ubuntu 10.10
** Changed in: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/748804 Title: rythmbox crashes few second after opening ubuntu 10.10 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 765888] [NEW] Invalidate rect/process update causes flicker for Cairo drawn content
Public bug reported: Screenlets (which are Cairo drawn widgets in an undecorated GTK window) started to flicker in Natty from early alphas and are still flickering in latest beta. [Bug 765962] [NEW] Repainting a widget causes Cairo drawn window background content to disappear
Public bug reported: Screenlets (which are Cairo drawn widgets in an undecorated GTK window) include some cases where there is GTK widget on Cairo-drawn background. One example is Lipik sticky notes screenlet for which the background is an SVG image and foreground is coloured GTK Textview widget. At start the widget is painted on SVG background all right, but writing something into the Textview makes the GTK window on background go blank and lose the Cairo drawn decorations. It also seems that this happens only when the line written into Textview is longer than the lines already contained in it (if the right margin needs to be extended, the window on the background is blanked). The behaviour started in Natty from early alphas and is still there in latest beta. The same code works without any problems in Maverick.
