[Bug 772169] [NEW] Favorite contacts always appear even when offline
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: empathy In a freshly upgraded Natty, the favorite contacts always appear in the list, even if they are offline. In Maverick, they were hidden when offline, just like the other contacts. I don't see why they are always displayed, maybe it's useful in some cases, but on our Jabber network, it's not. The expected behavior would be : -to hide them also -or to give the option to make them always visible ** Affects: empathy (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to empathy in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/772169 Title: Favorite contacts always appear even when offline -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center In System-Preferences-Network Proxy, I set it to use Manual proxy configuration, using the same proxy for all protocols. [Bug 772236] [NEW] Totem hangs when seeking within flac files (gstreamer)
Public bug reported: This issue occurs with Totem but also with any gstreamer-based player (Banshee, Amarok with Phonon-gstreamer), in Natty and not in Maverick. (they also occur in other distros such as Archlinux) HOW TO REPRODUCE : - play flac files - seek a couple of time inside the files - after 2-3 tries, the music stops and the GUI freezes It occurs with many .flac files (made with Banshee), but not all of them. If necessary, I can provide a sample .flac file (but it shouldn't be necessary as it occurs with most of them). [Bug 772487] [NEW] Does not maximize to the limits of the space
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-terminal When I maximize a terminal window in one dimension - i.e. horizontally or vertically - it does not grow to fit the available space, leaving a gap around the window. When using a terminal with white text on black and a bright background image the effect is especially ugly. This problem also appears when using the new Unity conveniences, like Ctrl-Alt-Keypad4, or pushing the window against the desktop's border. It looks like it's getting as big as possible such that there are a whole number of rows or columns within the window. A simple maximize in both dimensions works fine. I assume this pads the window with the background colour. I think the same behaviour for vertically or horizontally maximized windows would look good.
