[Bug 767095] Re: 1 pixel icons in notification-area-applet for qt softwares (e.g. Skype)

When the system boots fast I get 1 px icons and when it takes its time it shows the icons correctly (both Skype and Vlc). [Bug 588353] Re: gdmsetup does not let me unlock
the gdmsetup privilege escalation problem is only related to the awesome window manager, not the default gnome or unity. using gnome as desktop i could set the default session of my user. so i guess i should put the candle back where it was and mark this bug as expired. ciao ** Changed in: gdm (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gdm in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/588353 Title: gdmsetup does not let me unlock -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 691482] Re: Brasero Disc Burner wrongly named
@Glennz, comparing Brasero to Firefox or LibreOffice isn't fair since the apps you mention are in a different league to Brasero. There are generally two types of apps that the average computer user will interact with. There are apps such as Firefox, LibreOffice, Banshee, etc on which they spend the majority of their computing time either working or playing. They become familiar with these apps to such an extent that they prefer to use them over others similar ones. The other type of apps are support utilities, like Brasero. Most people don't burn CDs/DVDs on a regular basis, it at all, and are unlikely to have developed an attachment to their disk burner they way they have with their web browser. In this situation, it doesn't really matter to them with the thing is called, as long as it does it's job. Think of it this way - you care about the names of your colleagues but not the name of the driver of the bus you're on. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to brasero in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/691482 Title: Brasero Disc Burner wrongly named -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
