hi sir pedro, thanks for reading my question. the problem is with ubuntu 9.10. i moved to 10.04 few days ago and as i write this i decided to test rhythmbox. i still get the same problem. visualization will freeze/stop on next music file. i tested also movie player visualization when streaming music from internet. http://www.shoutcast.com if i will stream music in AAC+ type, movie player will open and visualization will automatically play, i don't have problem with movie player visualization as long as internet signal is steady. in case internet will momentarily stop, i just see buffering but music and visualization will continue once signal is back. unlike with rhythmbox. what ever i play in rhythmbox, stream. music folder etc, visualization is in trouble. i don't know the problem and solution, but i think it has something to do with signal or command to visualization to play once music starts. anyway, i hope you find pesticide for this bug.. i decided to use 10.04 because i received original cd from canonical and that is what i use to install to some friends who wants to try ubuntu. they like it because of longer support but do you think i should move to natty narwhal ? thanks again so much. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/677048 Title: visualization stops on next music track , sometimes shut down rhythmbox i will change visualization. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 783534] Re: Move to Workspace have to be pressed twice
Hey I was on vacation so I cant answer this post. First I use Unity. I will try to explain the problem again. If I do this, nothing happens, but when I do it one time more the window gets moved to workspace 2. So I think it is a bug, because the first time I do the action nothing happens. [Bug 776469] Re: Alacarte kills the Application menu in XFCE 4.8
This is a me too. It is very easy to reproduce this issue. I did it in a virtual machine. After installing ubuntu-11.04-desktop-i386.iso and adding xfce4 via apt- get, no ~/.config/menus exists for an xfce user. After starting alacarte and quitting it immediately by hitting ESC, the directory ~/.config/menus is created with two files: settings.menu and xfce-applications.menu. Immediately the xfce applications menu is no longer available exactly as Andreas described. I think I found one workaround: After having started alacarte once, I did: cp -p /etc/xdg/menus/xfce-applications.menu ~/.config/menus For the time being every thing seems to work. I really hope that someone cares about the bug. Gerd P.S.: This does not happen in Xubuntu 11.04. The reason is _very_ simple: Xubuntu does not include alacarte, so there is no chance in Xubuntu to utilize one of the major features of Xfce 4.8. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to alacarte in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/776469 Title: Alacarte kills the Application menu in XFCE 4.8 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
