Yes, we're going to have Gnome Shell recommend gnome-user-docs. Unfortunately, Gnome Shell users will still get the Unity docs by default but I believe that's fixable, just might not be done for Oneiric. Hi Pedro, I just tested it in Oneiric Ocelot Alpha 3 32 bits live cd. The bug is still here: - I can open a TXT document from the trash. - When I try to open a ODT document LibreOffice starts loading, but it closes before opening the document. I also tested opening the document with the terminal (libreoffice .local/share/Trash/document.odt) and it works. I believe this is an issue with the path the Trash is passing on to LibreOffice. Public bug reported: When pressing the up or down volume multimedia keys or clicking on the sound applet and raising the volume (or lowering it) with the mouse, the volume that goes up or down is the PCM and not the master channel of the sound card. I've verified this by running alsamixer in a terminal to see which channel's volume goes up or down. The bug is corrected, now is ok. But... the default printer controller for HP Laser Jet 1300 (HP Laser Jet 1300 Series Postscript [en](recommended)) is very slow, three minutes per page for print a soft-greese ink. If select controller is HP Laser Jet 1300 Foomatic/lj5gray [en] the velocity is only slow: two pages in one minute. Vamos, que imprimir en linux con esta impresora es muy lento, en cambio en Windows va bien. Ya me estoy hartando de escribir en inglés si al final el que lo lee también sabe español, y si esto es para que todo el mundo lo lea pues que aprendan esperanto, en 6 meses lo pueden hablar, leer y escribir casi perfectamente, mejor que 5 años aprendiendo inglés. Así defenderemos la existencia de los idiomas minoritarios. Public bug reported: The gedit window fails to appear when I start gedit on my first try. It does appear on my second try. This is true when starting from the launcher, opening a document from a folder, or opening a file using the terminal. I can see gedit did started the first time; the process is running. If I start gedit using --standalone it does work the first time. This implies that default behaviour is to start gedit in the background. The file is ignored when gedit starts in the background, so a second call is needed to load the document.
