[Bug 759963] Re: Volumes on cards inserted in the Realtek card reader (PCI 10ec:5208) not automounted.

2011-08-24 Thread Chris Halse Rogers
Is the gvfs component of this bug fixed in Oneiric? It seems like it
should be, but there's been enough activity on this bug that it's not
clear to me whether it has been fixed or not.

Once that's been cleared up I'm happy for gvfs to go into -proposed.

[Bug 832542] Re: Editing a contact without File As field causes Evolution to freeze

2011-08-24 Thread Kim Alvefur
Alternate theory:
Missing required fields, such as N.

I did this:
1. Open Evolution
2. Go to Contacts
3. Hover a contact without N field.
4. Freeze :(

[Bug 808407] Re: battery indicator missing

2011-08-24 Thread meborc
I have a dirty fix which I use to get the battery indicator on the bar

1) Install package powertop
2) run powertop
3) the battery indicator magically appears

But this is so annoying. Why is the battery not recognized sometimes and
other times found? I wish there was an option to say that the machine is
a laptop and has a battery ALWAYS

[Bug 219738] Re: gnome-keyring export support not implemented

2011-08-24 Thread Thomas Zahreddin
i don't think this is low priority, i can't recommend the keyring for
passwords - because it is hard to export them.

I don't use a passwordmanager (or any other tool), if i can't export my
data.
