[Bug 919871] Re: Empathy Keeps Crashing
Sure, no problem. It's likely that this isn't a problem with the Ubuntu packaging of empathy, and will need to be addressed by the folks over at GNOME. Could you possibly report this to the empathy developers at their bug tracker? The URL is here: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/ After you do that please post the link to your bug here so I can link the bugs on launchpad. Also, they're likely to ask for a stack trace since this is a program crash. Instructions for obtaining that can be found here: http://live.gnome.org/Empathy/Debugging ** Package changed: pidgin (Ubuntu) = empathy (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to empathy in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/919871 Title: Empathy Keeps Crashing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/empathy/+bug/919871/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 192508] Re: mouse keys to easy to accidently turn on
** Summary changed: - mouse keys turns on randomly + mouse keys to easy to accidently turn on ** Description changed: I am using Hardy Heron and several times now I have tried to use my number pad only to discover that they now move the mouse. I don't know if there is a short cut key I am hitting on accident, but it is rather annoying. Then sometimes when I disable mouse keys, the numlock becomes switched so that the system thinks numlock is on when the light is off and vice-versa. + + Update: the shortcut is: shift+num-lock -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/192508 Title: mouse keys to easy to accidently turn on To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-control-center/+bug/192508/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Re: [Bug 893420] Re: PST import no longer available after update to Oneiric
Hi Martin, That seems to work. PST is now visible as an import format. I have imported 3 PST files of ~2GB each and it looks like it worked. Emails, contacts, and calendars appear to have been imported correctly. I didn't have any tasks or notes in those PSTs. I wouldn't call that an exhaustive test - but I presume the fix didn't involve any (intentional) changes to the pstlib functionality, only whether it was included in the build. [Bug 913785] Re: bluetooth-applet doesn't start automatically on Precise
Rick, Can you confirm the version of bluez you have installed? We were under the belief that this was all taken care of now by bluez 4.98-0ubuntu4, but if not maybe it will be time to think about simplifying the bluetooth upstart jobs to just start no matter what. However, bluetooth-applet should have been started anyway by the session, regardless of the state of bluetoothd, even if it wouldn't show if there is both no device detected and no bluetoothd daemon running. What I mean by that is even on one of my systems fully up to date with no bluetooth adapter, bluetooth-applet is always running. [Bug 919157] Re: The Evolution calendar opens with the wrong date
Same here. This is a regression from Natty. The problem occurs whenever double-clicking a date in the calendar applet. Evolution opens showing the current day's appointments but the calendar in the bottom-left of the Evolution window shows 1 January 1970. If Evolution is opened manually, the calendar correctly shows the current date.
