[Bug 1075446] [NEW] evince crash when open copy of a pdf with note
Public bug reported: when I open a copy of a pdf with note, when i scan to the page with note, it will crash. I open it from console , it dump infomation segment error. Just to add something as a reply on comment #114: Ubuntu has applied this patch already since 06 Jan 2011 all versions till nowadays, as you can see in the changelogs here: http://packages.ubuntu.com/quantal/xserver-xorg-core Select Ubuntu Changellog and then search for 208_switch_on_release.diff. Even after almost two years, there has been noone to file a bug report that this change breaks anything. Hi, regarding the bug: After waking the computer from screensaver my main screen (laptop) becomes blue, the other screen (external LCD) is black. After hitting escape (when the mouse is on external LCD) black screen turns normally to background and/or password prompt. On the other side, if the mouse is on the main screen (which is blue) nothing happens when pressing escape. I have Nvidia-current drivers from repos. And I had both 12.04 and 12.10 installed. Actually, this is not really a bug in the calendar, but rather a bug in the theming. I am also attaching a screenshot with the ambiance theme from my Unity desktop, with the same month selected. You can spot the differences: * The invalid dates you mention (35-40) are the week numbers, with the same background color as the weekday header, to be able to differentiate it from the days of the month * 26th of September is on Wednesday, see row 5 column 4, the 26 on Sunday appears because the calendar shows whole weeks only, which might include a few days from the last month (26-31 August in this case, in the first row) and a few days from the next month (1-6 of October in the last row). I agree that colouring these with a different color would be nice, to be able to differentiate the days of the current month from the next/previous month. Based on what I have explained above, I suggest splitting this in two separate bugs: * A bug for your theme (what theme are you using? What desktop environment) for the week numbers' background being the same color as the dates' background * A bug for indicator-datetime (containing the calendar) about colouring the dates of next/previous month with a different color than the one used for the current month. Seems fixed on GTK3, Ubuntu 12.10. If you delete a file, no longer shows on the recent document list. If you delete a file while the file selector dialog is open, the list did not autorefresh (the deleted file is still listed). Ubuntu 12.10 Gedit, Ubuntu Software Center (GTK3): the mouse pointer gets hidden when I start typing. Firefox, OpenOffice (GTK2): the mouse pointer remains on screen when I start typing, even if the cursor is right above the typed text. Seems that currently its a GTK2 problem only. Firefox is working to bring a GTK3 version. Don't know about OpenOffice or other core GTK2 apps. I'd like to add that 1) This bug can easily be reproduced by means of a standard Ubuntu Live CD. After booting the Live CD check that opening the preferences works without problems. Then enter the command(s) ls -od /home; sudo chmod 711 /home; ls -od /home which should show (apart from the date) drwxr-xr-x 1 root 60 Nov 6 2012 /home drwx--x--x 1 root 60 Nov 6 2012 /home Open preferences again and it will show the error message Could not read the contents of home. Permission denied. 2) I am sorry, but, indeed this bug must be caused by a component that gnome-terminal is using and not by gnome-terminal itself.
