No, we can't really say it's a duplicate yet -- this bug is missing a backtrace for the crash. [Bug 1087701] Re: Lock screen broken after suspend/resume
The lock screen is handled by gnome-shell, so this is unlikely a gdm issue. gnome-screensaver is only used in fallback mode (and Unity). Can you reproduce the issue and then attach '~/.cache/gdm/session.log' (You willl need to switch to a VT and grab the file before restarting gdm/g-s or it will get overwritten) Also you may want to try installing gnome-settings-daemon from gnome3-team ppa, that will fix atleast one issue where the internal X screensaver fires when it shouldnt ** Package changed: gdm (Ubuntu) = gnome-shell (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gdm in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1087701 Title: Lock screen broken after suspend/resume To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1087701/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 970916] Re: [soundnua]: gnome-control-center crashed with SIGSEGV in vfprintf()
it's not fixed. I am trying it out on a USB mic that is built into a logitech bcc950. whenever I click in the control panel on the input, I get this crash. this happens even after I uncommented the required volume in analog-input.conf and restarted the pulse server. /iaw -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/970916 Title: [soundnua]: gnome-control-center crashed with SIGSEGV in vfprintf() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/970916/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
