[Bug 1103885] [NEW] No condensed version of contact listn in Empathy

[Bug 1070290] Re: Folders bookmarks not showing in places
Problem seems to be that in gnome-panel/libpanel-util/panel-gtk.c the function panel_gtk_get_bookmark_file will return the path to the bookmarks file as ~/.config/gtk-3.0/bookmarks whereas nautilus appears to be updating the file ~/.gtk-bookmarks. Problem is obviously something about the condition being used to determine which path to return but I'm afraid I don't know how to fix it correctly so instead a workaround until someone wiser does is to do the following: rm ~/.config/gtk-3.0/bookmarks ln -sf ~/.gtk-bookmarks ~/.config/gtk-3.0/bookmarks -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1070290 Title: Folders bookmarks not showing in places To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-panel/+bug/1070290/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 31286] Re: Displays repeated keyring dialogs on resume from suspend and login
From bug #1067555: I found to reproduce this bug by 2 ways: 1. When not connected to a secured (without password saved) wifi, try to connect to the secured wifi (do not type password or do anything), go take a rest, unlock computer and see a lot of nm-applet dialog. 2. When not connected to a secured (without password saved) wifi, try to connect to the secured wifi (do not type password or do anything); repeat from the begining. To fix this, the dataflow should be like this: On connect event: If keyring-dialog is visible, do nothing, else if connection needs password and password is not saved, display keyring-dialog. ** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #676278 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=676278 ** Changed in: network-manager Importance: Low = Unknown ** Changed in: network-manager Status: Invalid = Unknown ** Changed in: network-manager Remote watch: GNOME Bug Tracker #359532 = GNOME Bug Tracker #676278 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to a duplicate bug report (47509). https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/31286 Title: Displays repeated keyring dialogs on resume from suspend and login To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/network-manager/+bug/31286/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Just my 0.02 cents. Why not to introduce transaction concept for key presses? 1. Transaction is finished when the last key is released 2. The returned result from the transaction is the sequence of keys pressed This should solve all [Alt, Shift] problems. Example: user presses Alt key user presses Shift key and releases it user presses Shift key user releases Alt key user releases Shift key The returned sequence is [Alt, Shift, Shift] -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/36812 Title: Keyboard layout change on hotkeys press instead of release and do not work well with shortcuts To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-control-center/+bug/36812/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1100320] [NEW] Annotation Font-Color is unreadable in Evince
You have been subscribed to a public bug: Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a PDF with Evince 2. Try to add an annotation 3. Write some text within the annotation Expected to Happen: The annotation font color is black, so that is readable on white background. What happens instead: The color is yellow, so that all written text is unreadable. Please be aware that this is a Ambiance/Radiance Theme bug as this error does not occur on other themes like Adwaita. So switching the theme for annotations might be a workaround. It's used for the window's buttons and title when in maximized mode, and the application name when non-maximized. The solution is to show the title whenever the mouse reaches either the top left corner (application title area when not maximized, buttons area when maximized) or the area between the menu and the indicators. [Bug 1104798] [NEW] Keyboard shortcut for search has changed.
Public bug reported: Okay, this very day (and I mean literally within the past 24-36 hours, most likely the lesser since it was less than 24 hours ago I last updated) the keyboard shortcut for the Search (Find) function in gedit has been changed. It is no longer Ctrl+F like it always has been. In fact, when I open up the Search menu and go to the line for Find it just lists 'A' for the keyboard shortcut. I was using the previous shortcut as recently as yesterday, and I tend to use that specific function on a fairly regular basis (not daily, but on days I use it I may use it a dozen or three times). I highly doubt I'm the only person to be having this problem, but I'm not seeing a mention for it here yet so I'm reporting it. I am currently using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, with gedit 2.30.3. ** Affects: gedit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gedit in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1104798 Title: Keyboard shortcut for search has changed. [Bug 1104798] Re: Keyboard shortcut for search has changed.
I just took a look through the help for gedit, which still lists the keyboard shortcut for Search (Find) as 'Ctrl+F', and then was looking through some of the other keyboard shortcuts, and in the Edit menu the only thing listed for Paste is 'Z', although it's official shortcut is 'Ctrl+V', which does still work. It's starting to make me wonder just what other bugs small bugs are in there and haven't been noticed, but I don't use it heavily enough to make it worth the effort for me. I will state that I typically use the keyboard shortcuts such as 'Alt+F' to open a menu and then hit the underlined key for a specific item, the find function is the only one I normally use the 'Ctrl+' shortcut for, as that one's the same for all programs, but the menu it's listed under may differ. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gedit in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1104798 Title: Keyboard shortcut for search has changed.
