2013-03-07 Thread Norbert

+ 0. Select one of the Ubuntu themes
  1. Open a PDF with Evince
  2. Try to add an annotation
  3. Write some text within the annotation

I'm not going to have this done by Feature Freeze as there's a linking

[Bug 965510] Re: option --new-window not working correctly

2013-03-07 Thread Jon Brase
Is there any chance of this being fixed in Precise?

Looking at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates#When , it's not
really a severe regression (2nd bullet point), but I believe it
qualifies for Obviously safe patch and Affects an application (4th
bullet point).

Mm after the Humanity icon theme update from a few minutes ago, the
Software Updater icon did change, but the Nautilus icon didn't. The only
way to get the new Nautilus icon is to switch to the Humanity icon
theme, but it doesn't work with Ubuntu-mono icon theme for some reason.

[Bug 1100320] Re: Annotation Font-Color is unreadable in Evince

2013-03-07 Thread Dave Walker
Hello TheGhost, or anyone else affected,

Accepted evince into precise-proposed. The package will build now and be
available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/3.4.0-0ubuntu1.6
in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package. See
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to
enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update
out to other Ubuntu users.

If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug,
mentioning the version of the package you tested, and change the tag
from verification-needed to verification-done. If it does not fix the
bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to
verification-failed. In either case, details of your testing will help
us make a better decision.

Further information regarding the verification process can be found at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . Thank you in
advance!

[Bug 993058] Re: Failed credentials text is very hard to read

2013-03-07 Thread Adolfo Jayme Barrientos
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this bug is (almost) resolved as
obsolete. It is not reproducible any more in Nautilus 3.6.x as the
Connect to Server dialog changed, the theme was updated in Quantal as
well, and the insensitive text did not appear in other apps such as
Simple Scan. However, the text still has low contrast against the
background, and that is now tracked in the bug LP: #1144611.

[Bug 1142947] Re: epiphany-browser crashed with SIGSEGV in Decoder()

2013-03-07 Thread John S. Gruber
Debdiff with the patch from webkit upstream Filip Pizlo. See the webkit
bug above. Before the patch was applied I could often trigger the
segfault. After applying it to my system the problem I was no longer
able to trigger the fault.

There is an i386 build in my ppa. The build log is at
https://launchpadlibrarian.net/133296050/buildlog_ubuntu-
raring-i386.webkit_1.10.2-0ubuntu2_UPLOADING.txt.gz . The PPA is
ppa:jsjgruber/ppa . The uploaded version is 1.10.2-0ubuntu2.

Neither lp: webkit nor lp:ubuntu/webkit appear to be up-to-date.

** Patch added: Debdiff for 1.10.2-0ubuntu2 with webkit patch from Filip Pizlo

[Bug 1142947] Re: epiphany-browser crashed with SIGSEGV in Decoder()

2013-03-07 Thread Ubuntu Foundations Team Bug Bot
The attachment Debdiff for 1.10.2-0ubuntu2 with webkit patch from Filip
Pizlo of this bug report has been identified as being a patch in the
form of a debdiff. The ubuntu-sponsors team has been subscribed to the
bug report so that they can review and hopefully sponsor the debdiff.
In the event that this is in fact not a patch you can resolve this
situation by removing the tag 'patch' from the bug report and editing
the attachment so that it is not flagged as a patch. Additionally, if
you are member of the ubuntu-sponsors team please also unsubscribe the
team from this bug report.
