2013-06-28 Thread Sebastien Bacher
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue you are reporting is an upstream one and it
would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers
of the software by following the instructions at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME. If you have done so, please
tell us the number of the upstream bug (or the link), so we can add a
bugwatch that will inform us about its status. Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing you got that from the changes file (or Launchpad's view of
it)? Those aren't quite the same as Debian changelogs, although
obviously they are parsed from them.

Download the source package and check it out. You'll see it's fine. Any
problems with packages.ubuntu.com are separate issues. Tools like
dpkg-parsechangelog can handle it fine:

calendar through uoa (so e.g indicator-datetime shows the coming events)

[Bug 1193018] Re: GOA support not completely split

2013-06-28 Thread Jeremy Bicha
On first glance, it looks like gdata only needs goa in gdata-goa-
authorizer.c. It may be possible that the e-d-s gcal library doesn't use
those functions and we could then solve this bug by just splitting
libgdata instead.

[Bug 1195725] [NEW] Nautilus window jumping with dual monitors

2013-06-28 Thread Joost Van Durme
Public bug reported:

Not sure whether this is a Nautilus bug or window manager bug, but here
goes ...

A bug report has already been filed at askubuntu :
http://askubuntu.com/questions/279641/nautilus-dual-monitor-issue

I have a dual monitor setup (big desktop style where mouse goes from one
screen to the other) in Precise 12.04.2 with my laptop on the left and
external screen on the right. I have an ATI Radeon HD3635 card using
fglrx drivers and I'm always using the Gnome Classic (No effects)
environment.

What happens:

1. Open Nautilus program on ext screen and maximize it
2. The Nautilus window jumps to the laptop screen

What should happen:

1. Open Nautilus program on ext screen and maximize it
2. The Nautilus window should stay where it is. On the ext screen.

When it doesn't happen:

1. Open Nautilus program on ext screen and make sure it's not maximized
2. The Nautilus window stays on the ext screen

I also have a startup script doing this:

/usr/bin/xrandr --output CRT1 --right-of LVDS
/usr/bin/xrandr --output CRT1 --primary

Where CRT1 is the ext screen and LVDS is laptop screen.

Any help is appreciated, even more because Precise stays supported until
2017. And it's an annoying bug. ;)

[Bug 1195911] [NEW] ssh: Received disconnect from xx.yy.zz.aa: 2: Too many authentication failures for XXXX

2013-06-28 Thread Lars Noodén
Public bug reported:

When trying to connect using ssh, I get this error:

Received disconnect from xx.yy.zz.aa: 2: Too
many authentication failures for

It appears that for some reason Lubuntu's agent somehow arbitrarily
pulls in some keys and, despite not being asked to, tries to use them
for authentication and won't let me try the password.

If I list the keys in the agent (ssh-add -L) then it lists a bunch of public
keys, none of which I put there, none of which should be there. If
anything there should be private keys in the agent. If I remove the
keys (ssh-add -D) then they are still there when I check again.

Looking at the output for the server, it looks like it keeps trying keys
until the max limit for failed logins is reached.

The problem can be made to go away by uninstalling gnome-keyring and
rebooting or by clearing ~/.ssh/ of keys.

The problem can be created by adding 6 or more keys to ~/.ssh/ and then
trying to connect with ssh, say to localhost.

  cd ~/.ssh/
  ssh 127.0.0.1
  ssh-keygen -P '' -f test_key_1
  ssh-keygen -P '' -f test_key_2
  ssh-keygen -P '' -f test_key_3
  ssh-keygen -P '' -f test_key_4
  ssh-keygen -P '' -f test_key_5
  ssh 127.0.0.1
  ssh-keygen -P '' -f test_key_6
  ssh 127.0.0.1
  rm test_key_6
  ssh 127.0.0.1

I'm not sure if this is a security vulnerability.

[Bug 1010421] Re: Text antialiasing is green.....

2013-06-28 Thread Giri M. Carlos
I just purged a ppa that I used to install the infinality font
rendering,

sudo ppa-purge ppa:no1wantdthisname/ppa

This solved the bug for me on Ubuntu 13.04, so I can go on using Gimp in
my works.
