[Bug 1245516] Re: owncloud integration fails at HTTP basic auth

2013-11-22 Thread Sebastien Bacher
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue you are reporting is an upstream one and it
would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers
of the software by following the instructions at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME. If you have done so, please
tell us the number of the upstream bug (or the link), so we can add a
bugwatch that will inform us about its status. Thanks in advance.

[Bug 1218322] Re: Can't set keyboard layout change to alt+shift, ctrl+shift, etc.

2013-11-22 Thread Krisztian Poos
And an other thing, if I try to modify the Switch-to-next-source
shortcut, it still not let me to set AltShift_L, pressing these
buttons makes it to be Disabled. So there is no way to set this on the
gui. I can set it again with the gsettings set
org.gnome.desktop.wm.keybindings switch-input-source ['AltShift_L'],
however it still not works after that as well.

[Bug 1218322] Re: Can't set keyboard layout change to alt+shift, ctrl+shift, etc.

2013-11-22 Thread Krisztian Poos
@Norbert (nrbrtx)

Thanks for the hint, I tried this way, and the results are the next.
However the switch to next source shows up at the Input Sources config panel, I
still cannot use Alt-Shift to change the layout. It still only switches the
keyboard indicator in the upper panel to hu, but I still type english
characters... if I use the mouse to change the language on the upper corner to
hu, I can use hungarian characters... If I again use the keyboard shortcut to
change, it does not work again.. So the problem is definitely around the
keyboard shortcuts.

Any suggestions are highly welcome, because this is quite annoying for
me :)

Thanks and regards,
Krisztian

2013-11-22 Thread Sebastien Bacher
Thanks Adam, that was done the same day as we updated webkit:

The update did migrate from trusty-proposed to trusty yet because we are

when they are built on the complete architectures set)

[Bug 859600] Re: Please convert gnome-keyring to multiarch

2013-11-22 Thread Michael Terry
OK, quick update on status for Quantal and Precise. The Quantal patch
was never uploaded to the archive. The Precise patch was uploaded by
xnox, but was rejected because of the ${binary:Version} issue below.

I've just uploaded a modified patch from comment 75 to Quantal only.
I'd like to get Quantal landed before doing Precise, because as people
have mentioned, the upgrade path gets complicated otherwise.

Here are the changes I made to Graham's Quantal patch:
- You shouldn't specify Breaks or Replaces lines with automatically generated
versions like ${binary:Version}. This means that every time the package is
built, it will say it breaks previous versions. Instead, just hardcode the
version that you put in debian/changelog.
- When using DEB_HOST_MULTIARCH, please also make sure to manually set it [1]
as recommended in the multiarch conversion doc [2]. This is because while
normally the buildd will set it for us, it's not a requirement. For example,
when dep8 tests rebuild the source, the variable is not set for us. Not likely
an issue in practice , but still good to do.
- No need for quantal-proposed in the changelog entry. You can just say
quantal now and LP will do the right thing. Minor point, but just saying.
- No need to manually add multiarch-support to the Pre-Depends line. It comes
in via the ${misc:Pre-Depends} bit. Again, minor point.

So let's see how the Quantal upload goes.

[1] DEB_HOST_MULTIARCH ?= $(shell dpkg-architecture -qDEB_HOST_MULTIARCH)

[Bug 1254106] [NEW] browse files on device does nothing

2013-11-22 Thread Launchpad Bug Tracker
You have been subscribed to a public bug:

I click on the Bluetooth icon on the top-right corner of the screen next to the
battery icon
My mobile phone is listed in the drop down. I select it and I click on Browse
files

Expected: a Nautilus window should appear showing the browsable contents
of the device. Maybe the device should prompt me whether to allow
browsing before

Observed: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING happens. The computer doesn't even try to
connect to the phone. Nothing happens on the phone, nothing happens on
the computer; no error message is shown anywhere, it's just as if I had
done nothing.

I've done an hcidump while trying this, and it's empty.

[Bug 868358] Re: Hibernate hotkey (fn + ...) triggers suspend to ram

2013-11-22 Thread Cas
Re-testing on 13.10 initially I found that nothing changed however I
revisited this bug and followed the suggestion in #22.

Using dconf-editor I checked org.gnome.gnome-settings-
daemon.plugin.power key and found button-suspend: suspend so I
changed it to button-suspend: hibernate and my Fn+F1 button now works
properly again!

Note in 13.10 `/lib/udev/keymap` is no longer available and you will
need to install and run `evtest`

[Bug 1250532] Re: Very Slow to Show Properties of a File (window dims out)

2013-11-22 Thread Rob Hargrave
The same is happening on my computer, running Ubuntu 13.10 - I previously used
12.10 and the bug was not present then.
Its serious for me, especially now I have to right click the space between
icons and select properties to see how much hard drive space I have remaining,
older nautilus versions had the view option to show remaining space which is
sadly now missing.
The properties window on my computer can take between 20 seconds and 15 minutes
to appear, nautilus is greyed out during this time and any file copying in the
background grinds to a halt. My computer isn't particularly slow either
(2.66ghz dual core). File system is EXT4.
If there are any further tests to be done let me know and I'll try them out.
The bug is repeatable on my machine.
Rob
