[Bug 1240336] Re: Not authorized to perform operation / Unable to determine the session we are in: No session for pid
Hi again. Solution #23 in comment #33 worked for me, so many thanks! For those who want to try it, here are the steps: gksu gedit /etc/pam.d/lightdm Under the first line #%PAM-1.0 paste the following: session required pam_loginuid.so session required pam_systemd.so ... then log out and back in again. If need be, run dpkg-reconfigure gdm and select lightdm (that was already selected in my case, so I don't know if OKing it actually made any difference). [Bug 1252298] Re: totem has error on playing attached .vob file
I ran Totem from the command line and opened a target .mpg file. It errored with an on-screen message box that reads: No window title An error occurred Internal data stream error The box has an ok button. In the command prompt window, the following message was printed: ** (totem:7054): CRITICAL **: gst_video_decoder_allocate_output_frame: assertion 'frame-output_buffer == NULL' failed Totem did not crash. I can restart the video, but it will start at the beginning. I can take an arbitrary time in the video and the behavior will replicated within 20 seconds of play. In each case, it errors with the combination message box and command-line message. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gstreamer0.10 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1252298 Title: totem has error on playing attached .vob file To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gstreamer0.10/+bug/1252298/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

hello every one, base on this link http://iloveubuntu.net/unity-7-updated-ubuntu-1310-new-indicator-keyboard I just provide my another solution for your reference. 1. add a chinese input in text entry settings 2. change the switch hotkey from super + space to alt + space 3. then you could use alt + space to choose what you want to input. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BycSAkXO3P04MTRqS3o5VGxZQjg/edit?usp=sharing -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1241309 Title: Ubuntu 13.10 has no way to change individual input method settings To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1241309/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
