[Bug 124440] Re: [enhancement] Ubuntu needs a way to set mouse scrolling speed
I would really love it to be able to have mouse config adjustment options for the mouse scroll by pixel instead of it jumping per line. It's bit annoying with it jumping 3-4 lines at a time or even half a page. most users, especially if they've come from another OS such as Windows or Mac OSX would hate not being able to adjust the scroll by pixel. Mouse Scroll per Pixel [ 2 ] or to any other user defined number of pixels they wish to set their scrolling rate to. I find it rather disappointing that Ubuntu lacks this option to customize your own mouse to how you want it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/124440 Title: [enhancement] Ubuntu needs a way to set mouse scrolling speed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-control-center/+bug/124440/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1254789] [NEW] File-roller 3.10.1 - double clicking on column separator makes cpu go high, makes x unresponsive for a while
Public bug reported: On the latest file-roller in Ubuntu 13.10 (I'm using Xubuntu) if you open a zip file that contains a large number of files (30.000+), and double click on the column separators (IE: Name) it makes X unresponsive, the CPU jumps to 99% and once the program is done who knows what the column is resized to 1px making it dissapear. This is a bit disconcerting for end users as their computer becomes unresponsive, and if they look elsewhere their column has disappeared. If the end user closes File-roller then the size of the columns is saved (who knows why someone thought this was a good idea is a question for another day) so when they open another zip file the column that was resized to 1px appears missing. Public bug reported: on a fresh install of 64bit 12.04 or 13.04, if you attempt importing a password protected p12 through the command line as such: gnome-keyring import ~/Desktop/client.p12 file you will either get the error: gnome-keyring: couldn't find any place to import files or on 12.04 a bunch of warnings about unable to load module info.
