Thanks el-gallo-azul for your info. It would be great if you could try to see if this can be reproduced with Ubuntu 14.04. Good idea Walter :). I have checked but I'm inconclusive. The Absolute radio stations changed their policy and are not streaming to my country anymore (I assume anything outside the UK), so I can't reproduce the problem. [Bug 1183665] Re: nautilus passes invalid URIs to bulk-rename-tool
Any updates about this? Sounds like a papercut bug to me. Since I am using nautilus-renamer, which imo is the best GUI based batch renaming tool available for gnome, I would love to contribute a solution, because after 8 months this bug is still confirmed but unassigned. Any pointers on how to get started/where to look at? [Bug 1202159] Re: nautilus assert failure: ERROR:nautilus-bookmark.c:350:nautilus_bookmark_connect_file: assertion failed: (!nautilus_file_is_gone (bookmark-details-file))
The bug is when nautilus attempts to resolve bookmark information. At this point it gets an object that represents the file but the object is marked as being gone. It seems like a race condition where instead of failing on an assertion we should wait for the file to not be gone before accessing it. I haven't been able to find a reproducible test case yet, but I imagine based on the reports and the code it will involve making a bookmark to a directory on a removable/remote location and disconnecting that location. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1202159 Title: nautilus assert failure: ERROR:nautilus- bookmark.c:350:nautilus_bookmark_connect_file: assertion failed: (!nautilus_file_is_gone (bookmark-details-file)) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nautilus/+bug/1202159/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
