2014-04-15 Thread Walter Garcia-Fontes
Thanks el-gallo-azul for your info. It would be great if you could try
to see if this can be reproduced with Ubuntu 14.04. It's being released
this week, so as soon as you can verify if the problem is still present
in 14.04, which brings Rhythmbox 3.0.2, we can update this report.

I look forward to 14.04 coming out. I have found a number of things that
stopped working a few days ago when I went from 13.04 to 13.10, and
hopefully they will start working again with 14.04.

2014-04-15 Thread Sebastien Bacher
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue you are reporting is an upstream one and it
would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers
of the software by following the instructions at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME. If you have done so, please
tell us the number of the upstream bug (or the link), so we can add a
bugwatch that will inform us about its status. Thanks in advance.

[Bug 974342] Re: internet radio stream stops after every song

2014-04-15 Thread Sicco van Sas
Good idea Walter :). I have checked but I'm inconclusive. The Absolute
radio stations changed their policy and are not streaming to my country
anymore (I assume anything outside the UK), so I can't reproduce the
problem. I did tried another radio station and this went just fine. I
guess the problem was due to the malformed playlist as suggested by Mike
in comment #8. Therefor I close this bug.

Look for 'Radio' on the left, in the 'Library' panel. Selecting it you
get the Genre list as the next panel to the right; there you should see

2014-04-15 Thread Jani Uusitalo
Looks like Bug #1221954 is a duplicate wrt. the '80s and the '90s.
Upstream report (which I've linked to this one) says those genres have
been removed, so that leaves only Rock 'n' Roll from my report to check
for in latest upstream. (And of course, those upstream fixes haven't yet
made it into Ubuntu, so these LP reports are still valid.)

This is really very bad, hardly reproducible bug. It seems the faster machine

Maybe the fastest method to fix it is to dig into the code of GTK ...?

[Bug 1278863] Re: package gnome-settings-daemon-schemas (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: tentative de remplacement de « /usr/share/GConf/gsettings/gnome-settings-daemon.convert », qui appart

2014-04-15 Thread François Jacques
Same issue here. I've tried the aptitude way, which I originally thought
as working... but later on in the install the bug remanifested itself. I
have a root-mode ubuntu trusty in the meantime. It seems the last
package that blocks (in a severe way) the dist-upgrade to trusty.

[Bug 1308030] [NEW] Update to 1.20.1

2014-04-15 Thread Iain Lane
Public bug reported:

I'm uploading this as a merge from Debian. It could be an SRU under the
GNOME MicroReleaseException, which means that you can trust upstream
that the bugs are fixed and just need to do a general regression test.

gvfs (1.20.1-1ubuntu1) trusty; urgency=medium

  * SRU new upstream bugfix release
+ smb: Give correct error when unlink fails while closing file
+ dav: Fix problem with names with non-ascii characters
+ Several smaller bugfixes and portability fixes
  * Merge with Debian unstable. Remaining Ubuntu changes:
- Split out a gvfs-backends-goa binary, as in Ubuntu we wan to use Ubuntu
  Online Accounts.
- Bump gvfs-backend's Replaces: to gvfs-common, to fix failing
dist-upgrade from precise due to moved gvfs-dns-sd.convert.
(LP #1278812). Can be dropped after 14.04.
- Drop libbluray-dev build dependency, it is in universe.

[Bug 1183665] Re: nautilus passes invalid URIs to bulk-rename-tool

2014-04-15 Thread melo
Any updates about this? Sounds like a papercut bug to me.
Since I am using nautilus-renamer, which imo is the best GUI based batch
renaming tool available for gnome, I would love to contribute a solution,
because after 8 months this bug is still confirmed but unassigned. Any pointers
on how to get started/where to look at?

Thanks in advance!

[Bug 373477] Re: Can't save files to Samba (cifs) shares because they report 0 bytes free

2014-04-15 Thread KeithG
In 12.04, it is still an issue. I run 13.10 at home and it appears
fixed, there, but not in 12.04.

Using Wine/Excel 2007. Cannot open a file from the server share (windows
domain), but need to use nautilus to get it local edit then put it back
on server via nautilus.

Like I said, I think this is fixed in 13.10+, because I can VPN in and
edit the files directly on the share from MSoffice running in Wine, but
not in 12.04.

[Bug 1202159] Re: nautilus assert failure: ERROR:nautilus-bookmark.c:350:nautilus_bookmark_connect_file: assertion failed: (!nautilus_file_is_gone (bookmark-details-file))

2014-04-15 Thread Robert Ancell
The bug is when nautilus attempts to resolve bookmark information. At
this point it gets an object that represents the file but the object is
marked as being gone. It seems like a race condition where instead of
failing on an assertion we should wait for the file to not be gone
before accessing it.

I haven't been able to find a reproducible test case yet, but I imagine
based on the reports and the code it will involve making a bookmark to a
directory on a removable/remote location and disconnecting that
location.
