[Bug 1338802] Re: Update to 3.12

That update seems fine if somebody wants to do it (e.g not headerbar or
crazy ui changes it seems)

[Bug 1314556] Re: Unable to mount Android MTP device

2014-07-08 Thread Sebastien Bacher
What's the issue exactly? Is the device detected by the desktop when
connected? Is your problem that the automount lock the device and you
can't access it from a command line then?

[Bug 1283003] Re: [Bluetooth + 14.04] Bluetooth headsets are not working after last couple of updates

2014-07-08 Thread zig59
@cschramm

Despite originally not working (post #93) the ppa version of blueman is
now working without me doing anything (possibly simply a reboot was
needed). I'm also only getting one Headset entry in Sound Settings
whereas previously I was getting two.

The system connects upon powering up the headphones but to route the sound I
have to select the headset in Sound Settings and then select the A2DP profile
in Blueman. Easy enough.
Oddly, entering Sound Settings AFTER the sound is routed through the headphones
still shows the amplified speakers selected rather than the headset. Similarly,
on the Input tab the default microphone is selected rather than the headset

var/log/syslog is showing the following entries:

[Bug 692668] Re: nonsense behaviour when dragging the + sign next to a folder

2014-07-08 Thread Hans Joachim Desserud
I am no longer able to reproduce this issue with nautilus

prefences and changing to list view, I am not able to select the
triangle and drag it, only select the directory itself. Are anyone else

[Bug 1339244] [NEW] Comparison of exit_status in run_custom_command is wrong

2014-07-08 Thread unrud
Public bug reported:

In file /plugins/common/gsd-input-helper.c in function
run_custom_command the variable exit_status doesn't contain the exit
status of the process, so the statement return (exit_status == 1); is
wrong.

The documentation
(https://developer.gnome.org/glib/stable/glib-Spawning-Processes.html#g-spawn-sync)
 says:
exit_statusreturn location for child exit status, as returned by waitpid(),
or NULL.

And in the documentation of waitpid (http://linux.die.net/man/2/waitpid)
exit_status is described.

You have to do something like this:
if (WIFEXITED(exit_status) == FALSE) {
return FALSE;
}
return (WEXITSTATUS(exit_status) == 1);

[Bug 692668] Re: nonsense behaviour when dragging the + sign next to a folder

2014-07-08 Thread Teo
Yeah, looks like it's fixed.

(btw I was astonished to see that tree view didn't work any more. It
wouldn't have occurred to me to look for a setting, I thought they had
just eliminated tree view. I wonder why they do this sort of things. So
counterintuitive. It would be better to list them as 3 separate modes:
icons, list, tree )

[Bug 1339495] [NEW] separator-size.ui test fails on build

2014-07-08 Thread Robert Ancell
Public bug reported:

When building from lp:~ubuntu-desktop/gtk/ubuntugtk3 the following test
fails:

/home/bob/bzr/ubuntu/build-area/gtk+3.0-3.12.2/testsuite/reftests
/separator-size.ui: FAIL

This appear to be due to the test case being incorrectly rendered under
the Ambience theme.

[Bug 1339506] [NEW] In Utopic importing Gdk with no XDG_* env vars causes segfault

2014-07-08 Thread Christopher Lee
Public bug reported:

When using the gi.repository bindings on Utopic a segfault occurs if an
expected environment variable isn't set.

On Utopic machines we have a debian/rules build step fail due to a
segfault that happens when the expected environment variables are not
available.

In Trusty this only resulted in a warning (error: XDG_RUNTIME_DIR not
set in the environment.)

To reproduce:
  $ env -i python3 -c from gi.repository import Gdk

On my Utopic machine this causes a segfault.

** Affects: gtk+3.0 (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
