2014-08-08 Thread borgelillebo
Xubuntu 14.04. Confirming problem with gvfs. Gigolo keeps prompting for
username, domain and password. The same happens with gvfs-mount in the

I am able to mount the folder with cifs:
sudo mount -t cifs //xxx/xxx newfolder/ -o
username=myusername,domain=mydomain,sec=ntlmssp,noperm

[Bug 1061195] Re: Can't create EWS or MAPI account

2014-08-08 Thread m...@papersolve.com
I was experiencing this exact same bug as well. Based on information I
read in the corresponding RedHat report
(https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=879773) I was able to get
this to work by removing all the Evolution configuration directories
(which did have some prior attempts at configuration from a long time
ago) and killing and restarting Evolution:

[Fri Aug 8 10:02:25 EDT 2014] mike at ossy in ~

↪ rm -rf .config/evolution/ .cache/evolution/ .local/share/evolution/
[Fri Aug 8 10:02:40 EDT 2014] mike at ossy in ~

↪ pkill evolution

I went through the account wizard again, and after adding the password
prompt showed up and I was able to type the password and add the
account.

you.

Please continue to report any other bugs you may find.

The ChangeCurrentFolderToRoot failed appears to be harmless, for example when
opening in eog this message is printed but the image still loads.

transfer got cancelled appears to be the message which is ultimately
printed when a transfer actually fails.

2014-08-08 Thread Daniel Wainwright
Might be doing this wrong I think. I commented against each of the
'trusty' tasks Iain Lane had uploaded patches for, wanting to mark each
ubuntu-sru approved and reviewed. How my comments appear, it isn't
clear that that is what I did. Any advice?

[Bug 1351480] Re: Metacity-common Critical issue

2014-08-08 Thread Silvio Bierman
I can confirm this bug. I upgraded to 14.10 about three weeks ago and
the Software Updater has been complaining about not being able to
install al updates for about a week now. I use aptitude upgrade to do
the partial update but a aptitude dist-upgrade says it will remove
compiz, unity and a lot of other ciritcal stuff. The cause seems to be
in a metacity-common package version conflict.

Please resolve this issue.
