[Bug 1223181]
Hi, Environment: * Fedora 20 - 3.15.10-200.fc20.x86_64 * Java 1.7.0_60 * Eclipse Luna Version: Luna Release (4.4.0) Build id: 20140612-0600 I have had Eclipse crash fairly regularly for me whilst debugging. The following seems to have resolved it for me: Fedora 20, KDE, System Settings - Application Appearance - Changing Widget style from Oxygen to GTK+ Style has solved it for me. [Bug 898087] Re: Keyboard shortcuts set in Gnome Control Center - Keyboard do not have affect if those same shortcuts are set in Compiz
A work-around (works for me, but barely a bug fix): - Disable the shortcuts you set in step 3 - install compizconfig-settings-manager and compiz-plugins - start compizconfig-settings-manager, go to Window Management and enable Put - select Put and set your shortcuts in Put to arbitrary viewport - select Misc. [Bug 1301784] Re: cannot search text beginning with Alt(-gr) special character
I can confirm the exact same behavior on Ubuntu 14.04 with a Spanish keyboard. I'm not sure whether it's systematic or intermittent, since I think I rarely search for such characters, and I hadn't observed this until now. I've observed a similar but INTERMITTENT behavior on both Chrome and Firefox with some particular webpages with javascript, where hitting the Alt Gr key resulted in loosing the focus from the input field being edited. I always thought that was a bug in the javascript code of those web pages. Now I dubt this is may be the same issue than in Gedit and be a general problem in Ubuntu. If it is, then it is intermittent and apparently random (but when it starts happening it will keep happening until, I don't know, a reboot or something). [Bug 1364167] [NEW] Cannot modify the command (not keybinding) of a custom keyboard shortcut in latest 14.04
Public bug reported: I have made custom keyboard shortcuts by choosing system settings - keyboard - shortcuts - custom It gets called when I press the assigned key, but now I want to edit the command, since there was a typo or because I want to modify it. I click on the entry. Up comes a dialog. I edit the command field, and click Apply (the only other option is Cancel). The dialog disappears, as though successful, but the shortcut isn't changed. [Bug 1343983] Re: Fix Glade 3.8 crashes on opening file with Glib = 2.37
I've fixed this in 14.10 by updating to 3.8.5 and proposed the patch for a stable release update in 14.04 LTS. ** Description changed: - System: Linux Mint 17 MATE Edition (based on Ubuntu 14.04) - Glib version: 2.40.0-2 - Glade version: 3.8.0-0ubuntu6 + [Impact] + glade-gtk2 crashes opening .glade files. This is due to a change in glib. This is fixed in the upstream glade project [1]. - When I've tried to open a file [1], Glade crashed. Upon further - investigation I've found an upstream commit [2] from Glade 3.8.4 which - fixes the crashes with Glib = 2.37. I've backported this commit and - made a patch out of it.
