[Bug 1388743] Re: iOS 8.1 - Could not start com.apple.mobile.installation_proxy!

2014-12-14 Thread Sebastian F
I have build libimobiledevice5 1.1.7 from Debian experimental. I wasn't able to
build usbmuxd 1.1.0 because of dependency problems, however. With only
libimobiledevice-1.1.7 I still get the same error, so I guess both
libimobiledevice and usbmuxd need an update.
On a current Archlinux installation with libimobiledevice-1.1.7 and
usbmuxd-1.1.0 things work as expected and I can access the installed
applications on my iPhone (currently iOS 8.1.2).
Both packages seem to be stuck in experimental, so I don't know if it's
possible to backport them right now.

** Package changed: ideviceinstaller (Ubuntu) = libimobiledevice
(Ubuntu)

[Bug 1283003] Re: [Bluetooth + 14.04] Bluetooth headsets are not working after last couple of updates

2014-12-14 Thread MrMjolnir
Same issue with Ubuntu 14.04 and Denon DHT-T100.
The two systems pair correctly, but no sound.

After following instructions from comment #92, and rebooting, it worked.
I can see the ne Sound Output hardware on the sound configuration panel.

Thank you, cschramm.

[Bug 1325650] Re: CTRL+F turns search off

2014-12-14 Thread David R. Miller
Currently, to search, you either have to press ctrl-F once then enter
the search term, or you must press ctrl-F twice then enter the search
term. If you use the wrong procedure, search doesn't work. That's
unusual, error-prone, and could be easily fixed.

[Bug 1402422] [NEW] evolution should not be linked with -Bsymbolic-functions

2014-12-14 Thread Steffen Kieß

evolution should not be linked with -Bsymbolic-functions as it relies on

+ * Install python-zeitgeist, and verify that python-gobject is not
+ installed with it.
+
+ * If it is already installed, you should be able to run 'apt-get purge
+ python-gobject' without removing python-zeitgeist.
+
+ [Regression Potential]
+
+ Negligible. There are no code changes. The fix only removes a dependency
+ on a transitional package that doesn't provide any files.
+
+ ---
+
  [Impact]

system-config-printer-gnome depends on python-gobject, which means
python-gobject cannot be removed from the system. python-gobject is a
transitional package, and packages should be updated to no longer depend
  on it.

  [Test Case]

  * Install system-config-printer-gnome, and verify that python-gobject is
  not installed with it.

  * If it is already installed, you should be able to run 'apt-get purge
  python-gobject' without removing system-config-printer-gnome.

  [Regression Potential]

Negligible. There are no code changes. The fix only removes a dependency
on a transitional package that doesn't provide any files.
