[Bug 1371854] Re: users-admin: group name limited to 16 characters
** Description changed: In users-admin (a.k.a. [Bug 1404393] [NEW] Slowdown loading a Pdf file
Public bug reported: Evince freezes while loading the second page onwars of this document: http://www.hotmobile.org/2012/papers/HotMobile12-final72.pdf With an earlier version of evince, this document used to crash evince and use a substantial amount of CPU and RAM (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/1129430), but that issue seems to be (at least partially) solved now. There is no crash now, just the slowdown. For reference, the same slowdown is happening with Okular (0.20.0). [Bug 1094383] Re: Evince does not allow to rotate/move 3D pdf
YannUbuntu, thanks for the fast response. What I did was open the attached file https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/1094383/+attachment/3469968/+files/pdf3d_sample.pdf and click Edit Rotate Right/Left and the entire picture rotated. However, based on your additional comment it sounds like you are expecting it to do as it does in Adobe Reader, where if one secondary clicks the object in the PDF, one may click Enable Content and rotate it around three-dimensionally. Would this be what you were expecting? If so, I don't believe that is currently supported by the Evince project. ** Changed in: evince (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed = Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evince in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1094383 Title: Evince does not allow to rotate/move 3D pdf To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/1094383/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 63587] Re: Can't queue a song more than once in Rhythmbox
This bug is still present in Rhythmbox 3.0.2-0ubuntu2. Banshee had only briefly been the default music player in Ubuntu, and Rhythmbox is the default again (in main for Ubuntu 14.04 while Banshee is in universe). I have been using Banshee for several years, but a new bug has cropped up which makes that package nearly unusable for me. This queuing problem is the main reason I have not been using Rhythmbox. [Bug 1403583] Re: notify-osd does not work with Metacity
Notify OSD is using many deprecated functions. Then there are other warnings. It might be good idea to fix warnings. Does someone still develop / maintain Notify OSD? expose_handler function in bubble.c has wrong parameter... GdkEventExpose should be cairo_t. Replacing gtk_widget_realize with gtk_widget_show in bubble.c made notifications work again. So maybe something has changed in GTK+ that prevents notifications to show up?
