[Bug 1462183] [NEW] Nautilus Enter Location Stops Working

2015-06-04 Thread Vindicator
Public bug reported:

Earlier, I had been able to use CTRL-L for Enter Location and it
worked. At some point I had pressed ESC to revert back to the button-
based paths.

Later on, with that same window open, I came back and tried CTRL-L and the path
didn't switch back to the textbox.
Even going to Go-Enter Location did nothing.

While writing this up, I did a test by closing that window, then opening a new
Files window and CTRL-L worked right off the bat.
This wasn't my first experience with that bug, but enough times for me to
finally submit it when it happened.

Hopefully the data submitted will provide the information needed to find
the cause.

[Bug 296867]

2015-06-04 Thread G4JC
(In reply to Xavier Claessens from comment #99)
You probably want python2. Build just fine on ubuntu 15.04, it just has a
warning for a deprecated gnutls function, but you can ignore that with
 --disable-Werror (or make a fix).

 sudo apt-get build-dep telepathy-gabble
 ./autogen.sh --disable-Werror
 make
 make install

I can confirm it compiles after fixing the depreciated function and
forcing the Makefile to use python2.7 followed by making it read-only
(keeps trying to put 3.4 in there).

So after I ran the make install I started up empathy, but was unable to
use /otr start. It claims command is not found.

I then read this:
You need to set enable-otr=true in your CM parameters, otherwise OTR is
 disabled

No idea what a CM parameter is or where to set it, so I ran grep on all
the files. Nothing says enable-otr.

Can someone clarify where to put that line?

[Bug 1376432] Re: GNOME System Monitor Resources graphs show black borders

2015-06-04 Thread Madeline Hatter
I have the same issue on Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS. gnome-system-monitor
version is: 3.8.2.1-2ubuntu1.

I cannot install the fixed, 3.8.2.1-2ubuntu4 version package, because of
unsatisfied dependencies:
Dependency is not satisfiable: libglibmm-2.4-1c2a (= 2.40.0), which is
dependent on:
Dependency is not satisfiable: libglib2.0-0 (= 2.42.0) which gives this error:
Breaks existing package 'libglib2.0-bin' dependency libglib2.0-0 (=
2.40.2-0ubuntu1).

Is it possible to request a fix that is compatible with trusty?
Please let me know if you need additional information and where I can find it?

[Bug 1337657] Re: No optical media should not be affected by org.gnome.desktop.media-handling automount setting

2015-06-04 Thread Doug McMahon
In lieu of any fix those that wish that internal volumes are not auto-mounted
but wish to retain the autorun function (ask, do nothing, do something) on
optical media can create 2 startup .desktops. The 1st. one is immediate
disables automount, the 2nd re-enables it a few sec later.
At this point I'd consider this bug as 'won't fix' clearly doesn't affect
many users anyway
