[Bug 1464999] [NEW] Gnome terminal doesn't accept menu shortcuts

2015-06-14 Thread Mary Sherman
Public bug reported:

I've installed Gnome terminal, but the menu shortcuts (eg. Alt-F for the
File menu) are not enabled.

When I click (and keep clicked) Alt, the shortcut letters in the menus

The XFCE4 terminal works regularly.

[Bug 1464963] [NEW] clicking a keyboard shortcut entry locks up the whole desktop

2015-06-14 Thread Logan Rosen
Public bug reported:

Not sure if this is a regression, as I haven't played much with
shortcuts before. However, when you enter the Keyboard panel and click
on a shortcut that you want to change, the whole desktop locks up until
you hit the Escape key (after which everything starts working again, a
couple of seconds after hitting the key).

Furthermore, clicking one of these entries yields the following error in
the terminal (when gnome-control-center is invoked from there):

[Bug 1426657] Re: crashes when adding songs to playlist

2015-06-14 Thread Andrew Yeomans
I forgot to note earlier that (at least for me) the crash is not due to
any extra plugins. This was using rhythmbox straight out the box from
Ubuntu 14.04.

[Bug 1426657] Re: crashes when adding songs to playlist

2015-06-14 Thread Andrew Yeomans
This bug goes away after updating Rhythmbox to version 3.2.1 following
the instructions in http://ubuntuhandbook.org/index.php/2014/10/upgrade-
to-rhythmbox-3-1-ubuntu-14-04/ using fossfreedom's PPA
https://launchpad.net/~fossfreedom/+archive/ubuntu/rhythmbox. Blog entry
is https://xpressubuntu.wordpress.com/2015/03/29/new-rhythmbox-3-2
-release-for-14-04-14-10-and-15-04/

Perhaps this could be added to the official backports?

[Bug 1440377] Re: totem-plugins should be built using python3

2015-06-14 Thread Robert Ancell
When I look back over the patch I realized the changes to configure.ac
aren't strictly needed. python-gi-dev pulls in Python 2 libraries at
build time but they're not needed at run time so I added these back. The
other change was for a script that is no longer in git master.
