/etc/hosts doesn't seem to update even after installing nss-myhostname

FTR, the purpose of nss-myhostname is *not* to update /etc/hosts, but to
add itself to /etc/nsswitch.conf and dynamically resolve its own
hostname (from /etc/hostname).

[Bug 1481722] [NEW] Gimp hangs on trying to input upper case character with shift using text tool

2015-08-05 Thread Benedykt 'Silmethule' Jaworski
Public bug reported:

When trying to add text to image with Gimp 2.8.14 on Kubuntu 15.04, Gimp
hangs if trying to input uppercase M or uppercase A, or other letters (I
tried these two at the beginning, other seems to also hang the program).
It is invariant to font used. It also hangs when trying to type
uppercase character into choose-font field.

gimp --verbose seems to print no relevant information to console

[Bug 1210125] Re: Update to 3.12

2015-08-05 Thread Tim
I had a quick look at this, some further blockers apart from bluez5
(which should happen soon).

The UI has been removed in favour of the g-c-c sharing panel, except that was
introduced in 3.8 so won't be in u-c-c.
Seems to depend on g-s-d sharing plugin, which was also introduced after u-s-d
was forked.
