[Bug 1491557] Re: Nested containers aren't working in wily

2015-09-03 Thread Launchpad Bug Tracker
This bug was fixed in the package systemd - 225-1ubuntu2

---
systemd (225-1ubuntu2) wily; urgency=medium

  * Ignore init when doing cg_migrate_everywhere. Otherwise, inside a
container using lxcfs, init can get trapped in the slice, and there's
simply no reason to do this in the first place. (LP: #1491557)

[Bug 1320286] Re: On LTSP thick client gnome-settings-daemon gets loaded before unity-settings-daemon

2015-09-03 Thread David Beveridge
I had this problem on an LTSP server and I fixed it by creating a
system-wide autostart entry for the panel like so

root@test-ltsp:/opt/ltsp/i386/etc/xdg/autostart# cat
unity-panel-service.desktop
[Desktop Entry]

[Bug 1491666] Re: System Monitor hangs when network offline

2015-09-03 Thread Timo Palomaa
> Thanks for all that. About Ubuntu: there is a limit to how many bug
trackers I will create accounts for. I am user, not a developer.

I get it, but this bug here is not going to get any attention.

> And even if this networking problem (in its wider version, whereby one
needs special software and fiddly config to make auto mounted shares
work properly) owes to Ubuntu, I think Mint needs to fix it.

Would be great if Mint fixed every possible bug everywhere, but I'd
rather see them concentrate on their own projects.

> Relatedly: if there is a better system monitor, why not include it, as
the default, in Mint?

It just has become a standard to use many of the default Gnome
applications/tools. I use ksysguard but it wouldn't be a good default
program because it is KDE application and thus has lots of dependencies.

Thanks for all that. About Ubuntu: there is a limit to how many bug
trackers I will create accounts for. I am user, not a developer. And even
if this networking problem (in its wider version, whereby one needs special
software and fiddly config to make auto mounted shares work properly) owes
to Ubuntu, I think Mint needs to fix it. Relatedly: if there is a better

Same here.

Applaying gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.input-sources current 0

I'm not going to put this command at startup because this issue arises
randomly at any time (and not after boot).

[Bug 1426307] Re: location is inaccurate

2015-09-03 Thread costales
Hi Lucio,

> Yes, it's working perfectly in Portugal/Spain but not in Germany.

A big location change could take a lot of time, the same as the first app
startup. Could you leave it near to a window or in the car without movement?

>
> The accuracy in Portugal drifts between 2m and 20m.

Yes, 2,5m is the best possible for a mobile GPS.

>
> In Germany there's no data at all visible in this app.

It's weird :( The 26% of users are from Germany and no body reported
this.

>
> I don't accept it to use a service like Nokia's HERE

Do you have the Nokia HERE disabled? You have to enable it :( It's the
unique way the GPS will work.
Could be this the origin of the problem?

>
> I think it's neccessary to create the possibility to see some debug

Yes, I need to think in something about current GPS data :)

[Bug 942131] Re: Sometimes I have to select logout/shut down twice before it has effect

2015-09-03 Thread Ben Scholzen 'DASPRiD'
By now I kinda have the feeling that it's the fault of some program.
Because when clicking shutdown, a few programs are closed, while other's
stay open. Only after the second shutdown, all close. So one program is
apparently not responding to the signal the first time.

[Bug 1069964] Re: Two processes attempt to mount blank optical discs

2015-09-03 Thread Tim
Doug, blank cd's don't really get mounted (not in a filesystem sense),
but are mounted to a special prefix (atelast within the volume monitor)
purely so the autorun helpers can work (pop up a dialog what do you want
do, launch brasero, or what not). Same would apply to audio CD's.
