[Bug 1503718] Re: control-center, wacom-tablet: Calibration window is unresponsive
apport information ** Tags added: apport-collected wily ** Description changed: I am not able to calibrate my Wacom Cintiq 24HD in Ubuntu Gnome 15.10 (Beta 1, fresh install). When I click on calibrate the calibration window fills the screen of the Cintiq and the circle in the middle of the screen slowly fills, the window does not respond to any user inputs, tapping the calibration point does nothing and alt-f4 brings up a 'Wacom-tablet' is not responding window. This bug will always occur when trying to calibrate my Cintiq. I have reproduced this bug 10+ times with both the nvidia binary driver and nouveau driver. gnome-control-center will not crash, it has a cpu usage of 0,0% according to top and it does not give any usefull output when launched from the terminal or gdb. [Bug 1504057] [NEW] Bluetooth icon should turn blue when there's traffic happening
Public bug reported: The Bluetooth icon in the panel is currently an outline icon when Bluetooth is turned on but nothing is connected, it will turn to the filled icon when something connects. Additionally it would be useful if the icon would turn blue when there is actual traffic happening. This is something I've been used to from previous phones and it helps greatly to identify the state of the connection. For instance, the Music player playing music to a Bluetooth headset would be immediately visible when you've put the headset away already and forgot to stop the music player. Also, it causes bug reports of failed connections to be more detailed as this gives details to the developer whether the connection failed when establishing the ACL link or if something failed after a profile has been connected already. ** Affects: indicator-bluetooth (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to indicator-bluetooth in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1504057 Title: Bluetooth icon should turn blue when there's traffic happening To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/indicator-bluetooth/+bug/1504057/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Please note that Ubuntu is only relying on the currently connected cell to determine an estimate of the position. [Bug 1503718] Re: control-center, wacom-tablet: Calibration window is unresponsive
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue you are reporting is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers of the software by following the instructions at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME. If you have done so, please tell us the number of the upstream bug (or the link), so we can add a bugwatch that will inform us about its status. Thanks in advance. ** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1503718 Title: control-center, wacom-tablet: Calibration window is unresponsive To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1503718/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1503656] Re: package libpam-systemd:amd64 204-5ubuntu20.15 failed to install/upgrade: package is in a very bad inconsistent state; you should reinstall it before attempting configuration
There are no logs here which would show what led to the bad state of libpam-systemd, and after your dist-upgrade the package is now installed fine, so we lost the evidence of what went wrong. You apparently used "apt-get upgrade" before, which doesn't write any further logs (such as the update manager), so I'm afraid there's nothing else we can do here. Thanks! ** Changed in: systemd (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to systemd in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1503656 Title: package libpam-systemd:amd64 204-5ubuntu20.15 failed to install/upgrade: package is in a very bad inconsistent state; you should reinstall it before attempting configuration To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd/+bug/1503656/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1504247] Re: program "ubuntu-bug" missing in /usr/bin --> unable to report bugs
Apparently you uninstalled the apport package? That's what provides ubuntu-bug, and it's installed by default in Xubuntu. ** Package changed: systemd (Ubuntu) => ubuntu ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: In Progress => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to systemd in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1504247 Title: program "ubuntu-bug" missing in /usr/bin --> unable to report bugs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1504247/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 49348] Re: List view in Nautilus does not allow dragging a selection by mouse
It seems nothing is being done on this bug (or is this a duplicate and the party is somewhere else?). So if this cannot be considered a bug due to some formal or bureaucratic reason, please tell us whether this has been fixed and/or implemented in future Ubuntu releases. Rubberband selection in list views is such an important basic operating system feature that people shake their heads when trying Ubuntu for file management, as in "what do you mean this doesn't work? Why not?" If there is a big show stopper (as in, major bug in some dependant library that nobody has figured out in eight years), please also tell us.
