[Bug 1510430] [NEW] Wrong format signature when saving

2015-10-27 Thread Javier Antonio Nisa Avila
Public bug reported:

When an email signature is created, never saved in version 3.16.5
formatting applied correctly. If you select the text or image input, no
matter if one or the other, and centras signature, or align right, when
you save, you placing it to the left.

If you enter the signature text, it is impossible to center it.
If you insert an image, after four or five attempts focused saved, but when
sending the receiver receives left-aligned.

Attachment message encoding and .eml to check.

Regards.

[Bug 1510464] [NEW] Feature request: Write ISO to USB disk

2015-10-27 Thread Robert Orzanna
Public bug reported:

Dear all,

What it be possible for the 'Write to Disk' dialog to support the
writing of an ISO file onto a USB disk/stick?

This might be useful as less and less people burn ISO files on DVD or CD
disks.

Thankfully,

Robert

[Bug 1510528] [NEW] can't disable input methods for gnome-terminal

2015-10-27 Thread ktabata
Public bug reported:

> 1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or
System -> About Ubuntu

Description:Ubuntu 15.10
Release:15.10

> 2) The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy
pkgname' or by checking in Software Center

gnome-terminal:
  Installed: 3.16.2-1ubuntu4
  Candidate: 3.16.2-1ubuntu4
  Version table:
 *** 3.16.2-1ubuntu4 0

> 3) What you expected to happen

Disabling input methods by:
 $ XMODIFIERS=@im=none GTK_IM_MODULE=xim gnome-terminal

> 4) What happened instead

Can't disable input methods.
On Ubuntu 15.04, I can disable input methods this way.
This poses a problem for C-space on emacs -nw.

I think this is a regression bug because I can avoid this problem by using
Ubuntu 15.04 version of /usr/bin/gnome-terminal script. The most important
difference between older and newer /usr/bin/gnome-terminal is:

< if not cmdargs.disable_factory and cmdargs.cls is not None:
< if self.name is not None:
< self.args.append('--app-id=%s' % self.name)
---
> if not cmdargs.disable_factory and self.name is None:
> sys.exit(subprocess.call(self.args))

If I change these lines back, I can disable input methods.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue you are reporting is an upstream one and it
would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers
of the software by following the instructions at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME. If you have done so, please
tell us the number of the upstream bug (or the link), so we can add a
bugwatch that will inform us about its status. Thanks in advance.

[Bug 1510604] [NEW] upgrade to 15.10: got an error from dpkg for pkg: 'systemd': 'subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1'

2015-10-27 Thread Gregory Kramida
Public bug reported:

Ubuntu release: Ubuntu 15.10
Package version: not sure (upgrading from 225-1ubuntu9 to ??? during distro
upgrade)

In the dist-upgrade log, error is reported as:
error from dpkg for pkg: 'systemd': 'subprocess installed post-installation
script returned error exit status 1'

This causes a slew of other errors, which look like dependency problems
during the upgrade. I am attaching the upgrade log.

[Bug 1510587] [NEW] Nautilus crashes when delete a file in a folder which is a symbolic link to another filesystem

2015-10-27 Thread Rodrigo Renie
Public bug reported:

Nautilus crashes with an "assertion error" whenever accessing a folder,
which is a symbolic link to a folder in another filesystem, and then
deleting any file inside that folder (the file is not deleted).

Steps I used to reproduce de problem in my machine:

1) /dev/sda1 partition mounted on root folder with XFS filesystem;
2) /dev/sda2 partition mounted on /mnt/data folder partition with EXT4
filesystem;
3) create a folder "/mnt/data/test" and the empty text file
"/mnt/data/test/file.txt";
4) in your home folder, create a symbolic to the "test" folder above with "ln
-s /mnt/data/test";
5) open the symbolic link folder with "nautilus /test";
6) delete the "file.txt" file (pressing the delete button) and watch nautilus
crashing with the following error:

nautilus: malloc.c:2909: __libc_malloc: Assertion `!victim ||
mchunkptr)((char*)(victim) - 2*(sizeof(size_t)->size & 0x2) || ar_ptr
== (mchunkptr)((char*)(victim) - 2*(sizeof(size_t)->size & 0x4) ?
((heap_info *) ((unsigned long) (((mchunkptr)((char*)(victim) -
2*(sizeof(size_t) & ~((2 * (4 * 1024 * 1024 * sizeof(long))) - 1)))->ar_ptr
: _arena)' failed.

2015-10-27 Thread Sebastien Bacher
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue you are reporting is an upstream one and it
would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers
of the software by following the instructions at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME. If you have done so, please
tell us the number of the upstream bug (or the link), so we can add a
bugwatch that will inform us about its status. Thanks in advance.

[Bug 1510695] [NEW] "nautilus ." launches home folder rather than current location

2015-10-27 Thread Nikita Yerenkov-Scott
Public bug reported:

What I normally do is cd to a location in Terminal, and then run:

nautilus .

If I want to open Nautilus so that it opens up on the location to which
I have navigated to in Terminal, however, no matter to where I navigate
in 15.10, running the command only ever opens Nautilus in the home
folder. If I want it to open a specific location then I have to instead
run:

nautilus /path/to/location/

[Bug 1509068] Re: "Ask each time" option does not work when launching executable text files in GUI.

2015-10-27 Thread Samy
Hey Seth,

I have read here:
"https://help.ubuntu.com/community/DebuggingIRQProblems; that there is a
workaround for the "irqXX: nobody cared . . ." message which I assume
would also take care of the rest, booting with the irqpoll option, but
as is said in the article "this does not help diagnose the root cause,
nor should it be a permanent fix". Is there any permanent fix for that
issue?

Thanks
