[Bug 41738] Re: confusing error message when connection via ssh fails, because host key verification failed

2015-12-25 Thread derek
confirm in Ubuntu-15.10 this bug still exists. in gnome3 nautilus how to
invalidate the ssh host cache?

I can remove ~/.ssh/known_hosts (or by ssh-keygen -R ... that particular
host) that resolved ssh command line login only; but in the file manager
(nautilus) it prompts this error message, and I don't know where
nautilus save the ssh host key cache? and how to invalidate

Oops! Something went wrong.

[Bug 1529283] [NEW] Crash on opening with corrupted picture

2015-12-25 Thread Joël Bourgault
Public bug reported:

# Context

Due to some problem I don't understand now, Shotwell crashes while updating
pictures metadata, resulting in empty or corrupted files.
[But that's not the point of this report. I may open a new ticket when I
understand the root cause.]

# What happens
it's that Shotwell now refuses to start, and report following error:

joel@babasse-jojo:~$ shotwell
L 2835 2015-12-25 20:14:36 [CRT] PhotoMonitor.vala:1069: Unable to reimport

due to master file changing: Fin précoce de flux inattendue
**

 code should not be reached
Abandon (core dumped)

Please find the corrupted file attached (even if it's 0B long).

# What I would expect to happen

Shotwell should detect that the file is corrupted, and ignore it / raise
an alert / tag it as missing or corrupted.

# Versions description

Shotwell package version: 0.22.0-0ubuntu5
Xubuntu version : 15.10

** Affects: shotwell (Ubuntu)

[Bug 1524665] Re: Gnome-Terminal does not remember its window size when restored from maximized state (Xenial, Unity7)

2015-12-25 Thread Khurshid Alam
I can not reproduce this with mutter(Gnome-Shell) or metacity (Gnome-
Flashback) session. However it is reproducable metacity(compiz) session.
So I am thinking it has something to do with compiz. Under metacity
compiz session clicking on window button doesn't affect its size, but
dragging on double clicking on the titlebar does.

(dunno how to edit previous comment) If I remove the attached picture,
shotwell still crashes during database loading.

AAAaah and of course, this happens when I have time to filter my

[Bug 1529283] Re: Crash on opening with corrupted picture

2015-12-25 Thread Joël Bourgault
Complementary information: if I remove the identified 0B-long picture,
shotwell goes further in starting but still crashes, only with the
already-quoted Glib-IO error. This was likely due to another picture
earlierly-corrupted by shotwell, that is attached here.
