[Bug 1603600] [NEW] NetworkManager ignores pushed openvpn routes
Public bug reported: Relevant information that may or may not have been included by ubuntu- bug: Ubuntu release 16.04 Package network-manager 1.2.0-0ubuntu0.16.04.2 Package network-manager-openvpn 1.1.93-1ubuntu1 NetworkManager ignores pushed openvpn routes when "Use this connection only for resources on its network" is checked. This is a behavior change since 14.04. To repeat: 1) Use an OpenVpn server that pushes routes. I suggest using a server that pushes several routes since this makes their absence obvious. Set up a NetworkManager VPN of type OpenVpn to this server. Select "Use this connection only for resources on its network" in the "Routes" section of the IPV4 options. 2) Set up a raw OpenVpn connection to the same server. 3) Connect to the server using the raw OpenVpn connection. The pushed routes are all there. 4) Connect to the server using NetworkManager. The only route added is a n interface level route to the tunnel device network. Using the same setup on 14.04, all pushed routes are added. The missing routes are also "Resources on the VPN network", and should be added in the absence of further direction. Ignoring pushed routes should be controlled by the "Ignore automatically obtained routes" checkbox. [Bug 1603321] Re: Config directory ~/.gimp-2.8 should be ~/.config/gimp-2.8
The location has been changed in the current development branch (2.9) and this change will be in the 2.10 stable release. If Ubuntu doesn't want to be inconsistent with every single piece of GIMP docs, tutorial, hint, message, post, ... concerning the location of the profile directory for 2.8, I'd suggest to leave this as-is for now. It will be hard enough to communicate the change alongside a release that is explicitly changing the profile directory location. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gimp in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1603321 Title: Config directory ~/.gimp-2.8 should be ~/.config/gimp-2.8 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gimp/+bug/1603321/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1602485] [NEW] fwupd gnome-software
You have been subscribed to a public bug: Lately I've been experiencing a weird problem, my CPU (including all 4 cores) are 100% used by some processes like gnome-software(Gnome software) and fwupd(Firmware update daemon). This makes my work goes down. If i even kill those processes, they are starting back again. Is there a solution for these processes to not utilize 100% of my CPU. And I don't want answers saying use the cpulimit utility to provision the amount of CPU for those processes. I find this a core problem in Ubuntu, i'm expecting real solutions for the problem.
