[Bug 1606627] [NEW] Global & locally integrated menus don't show if (gk)sudo ?

2016-07-26 Thread Coeur Noir
Public bug reported:

Hi,

when run through (gk)sudo in 16.04.1

- gedit has no global or locally integrated menus, instead it falls back
to CSD but withouth the cog for accessing important features ( search,
replace… ) !

- Nautilus, synaptic… have no global or locally integrated menus,
instead it shows an old-fashioned style still menu, at least usable but
space wasting.

[Bug 1577246] Re: window has no shadow when run through (gk)sudo

2016-07-26 Thread Coeur Noir
I re-install ubuntu from 16.04.1 iso.

There is now a shadow around gedit window through (gk)sudo but
- locally integrated menus are still missing,
- corners are not "rounded" as in normal run.

PS
it always seems to be last mail password added to the keyring. I have
evolution with several mail accounts. I had to add a new account for a
Instagram account and now it it is only the latter that `bombs`, not the
main gmail account. The pop account for business doesn't fail nor the
internet provider email account that were added prior to the above.

It is not evolution problem but keyring problem this suggests.

[Bug 1606491] Re: scrolling through many photos breaks the view

2016-07-26 Thread Michael Zanetti
I have verified that the machine is not out of memory. It has 8GB of RAM
and another 8GB of swap space which is not even touched yet.

[Bug 1606463] Re: don't show battery and bluetooth indicators when now hardware is pressent

2016-07-26 Thread Michał Sawicz
I don't think unity8 should do anything here - the indicators should
hide themselves. What I'm not sure of is whether unity8 supports
something like that at the moment.
