I get the same list of warnings if I run GIMP from the terminal. GIMP does work OK with JEPGs. However it will not load CR2 raw files via UFRaw plugin gives a “Opening 'file location & name' failed: Procedure 'file-ufraw-load' returned no return values” error . Also the stand alone UFRaw will not load CR2 files. I can confirm this bug. network-manager 1.2.2-0ubuntu0.16.04.3 network-manager-openvpn 1.1.93-1ubuntu1 The pushed routes are totally lacking, as are the DNS servers if one doesn't use the VPN as the default gateway for all traffic (i.e. by activating "Use this connection only for resources on its network"). Bringing in bug 1577268 as a duplicate (reported six years later than this one). Either my idea caught on or someone came to the same conclusion independently; the patch resolving this in xenial's version removes the version check completely (rather than just commenting it out).
