[Bug 1685900] [NEW] On artful, no network after upgrading to systemd 233-5ubuntu1

2017-04-24 Thread Harry
Public bug reported:

After upgrading to the newest systemd 233-5ubuntu1 (in artful proposed) I got
no network.
This is very likely a DNS issue.
As a workaround downgrading back to systemd 232-21ubuntu3 the network and DNS
work fine.

So something odd has happened between these versions.

My setup is a fully upgraded artful with proposed repo turned on.
I use only Gnome DE with GDM.
Everything else works fine, but not systemd 233-5ubuntu1.

[Bug 1685878] [NEW] Gedit bottom scroll bar goes on top of final line

2017-04-24 Thread Nikita Yerenkov-Scott
Public bug reported:

I am on Ubuntu GNOME 17.04 with GNOME 3.24, though obviously still Gedit
3.22, and I have found something slightly annoying with it, and that is
that when mousing over the last line to try to copy and paste it for
instance, the bottom scroll bar goes on top of it and obscures it. I
have attached two screenshots of what I mean.

This also affects me on Arch so I have filled an upstream report on
this.

Since the feature is gone, it would be nice if we could select and drag

Currently you have to find the files on the file system to be able to
drag them.

2017-04-24 Thread Sebastien Bacher
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue you are reporting is an upstream one and it
would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers
of the software by following the instructions at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME. If you have done so, please
tell us the number of the upstream bug (or the link), so we can add a
bugwatch that will inform us about its status. Thanks in advance.

[Bug 1685803] [NEW] Update gnome-calendar to 3.24.1

2017-04-24 Thread Jeremy Bicha
Public bug reported:

Impact
--
This is a new bugfix release in the stable 3.24 series.

https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-calendar/tree/NEWS?h=gnome-3-24
https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-calendar/log?h=gnome-3-24

This should fix crash bugs LP: #1683840 and LP: #1684778

gnome-calendar is in the default Ubuntu, Ubuntu Budgie, and Ubuntu GNOME
installs.

Test Case
-
Install the update.

Run the app and make sure it works without crashing.

Regression Potential

There was a lot of code changes in this release, but the Developer says they
were necessarily to fix a lot of issues with 3.24's new Week View.
