[Bug 1778011] Re: SRU: PRIME Power Saving mode draws too much power
@Alberto I'm afraid I have to add to the pile of users reporting issues here. Kernel 4.20.14 with 418.43 drivers. Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS, on an X1 Extreme. Using both GDM3 and lightdm, "prime-switch intel" doesn't seem to power off the nvidia GPU. power seems to go between 25-35W on battery. Using powertop to set the Nvidia GPU to `Good` doesn't seem to help (100% usage in Device stats). Attached are gpu-manager.log and gpu-manager-switch.log (while in prime- select intel mode). I'm not using bbswitch. I've rebooted a few times while in intel mode to see if that would take. No die. Sorry, I missed the previous request to verify at bionic. Bionic is my basic Ubuntu. I only use cosmic for test. Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation on how to enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users. If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug, mentioning the version of the package you tested and change the tag from verification-needed-cosmic to verification-done-cosmic. If it does not fix the bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to verification-failed-cosmic. In either case, without details of your testing we will not be able to proceed. Further information regarding the verification process can be found at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . Thank you in advance for helping! N.B. [Bug 1819128] [NEW] Can't open exFAT-USB-Stick
Public bug reported: I've got an exFAT-USB-Stick. If I'm plugging the stick it seems to be mounted (the mounted symbol appears in nautlius). But I'm not able to open the stick to open files or for writing new files to the stick. Just if I'm formatting the stick with GNOME Disks and mounting it directly after formatting about GNOME Disks I can open the stick. After unmounting the same problem appears.
