[Bug 1828123] Re: File names are percent-encoded when connect to webdav server

2019-05-07 Thread Sebastien Bacher
Thank you for your bug report. What Ubuntu/nautilus version do you use?
Does "gio ls dav://:..." has the same issue or is it specific to nautilus?

[Bug 1827284] Re: No animation when GNOME Activities overview is opened

2019-05-07 Thread Daniel van Vugt
Strange. I do now have the animation in bionic today (gnome-shell
version 3.28.3+git20190124-0ubuntu18.04.2), providing I use the mouse
and not Super+A. So the "regression" I was thinking of isn't in bionic
with the Ubuntu Dock at least.

I will still bisect to see what/where things might have changed.

Also, since the bug was only in 3.30.0 and older (fixed in 3.30.1), that

[Bug 1828123] [NEW] File names are percent-encoded when connect to webdav server

2019-05-07 Thread Tom Yang
Public bug reported:

When I connected to a Webdav server set up by nginx using the default
file manager, some non-English characters in file and folder names are
displayed as percent-encoded(url-encoded). For example,
"%E4%B8%8D%E5%AE%89%E4%B8%8E%E6%AC%B2%E6%9C%9B" is displayed instead of
"不安与欲望", and the " "(space) in a file name is displayed as "%20". Once I
copied those files to local disk, the file names are displayed
correctly.

[Bug 1828107] [NEW] gvfs can't list shares from smb servers that disabled SMB1

2019-05-07 Thread Andreas Hasenack
Public bug reported:

After bug #1778322 is fixed (just needs a gvfs rebuild with newer
samba), samba machines will start to show up again in the "windows
network" tab in nautilus. But if a server has disabled the SMB1
protocol, nautilus will show an error when that server is clicked on,
instead of showing the shares list.

Even with SMB1 disabled, it should still be technically possible to get
a share list, since smbclient can do it:

I was on Bionic Beaver and my '.desktop' Desktop Entry files were
working but after an upgrade to Disco Dingo they just launch gedit.

[Bug 1809788] Re: Shell dialog messages are truncated and ellipsized...

2019-05-07 Thread Iain Lane
I'm going to upload this to bionic before it's fixed in disco/eoan.
There we're giving upstream a couple of days to release 3.32.2 which
will contain this. SRU person, If you happen to review this before then,
hope that's OK. :-)

The upstream commit is describing the issue being with "X11 with nested

Yes, that was blocked by another SRU which was accepted but turned out
to be problematic (building the nfs backend which requires libnfs
promoted). The other SRU has been deleted for now so we are going to
move forward with this rebuild

[Bug 1826176] Re: Applications do not receive focus in Wayland sessions

2019-05-07 Thread Silvio Bierman
Hello Łukasz,

Thanks for this. I have updated to this version yesterday evening and
have been working with it for about 10 hours now.

First of all I can confirm that as far as I can tell the problem has
been fully resolved. All applications that I start from either the
(docked via plugin) dash, the applications overview or from desktop
icons (plugin again) properly receive focus. And I have not experienced
any problems working with this version up till now.

I will report back here if I see anything unexpected.

[Bug 1827953] Re: when you have "world clocks" configured (e.g. from the Gnome Clocks application), Gnome Shell crashes on login, resulting in a login loop

2019-05-07 Thread Sebastien Bacher
(installing gnome-clocks and adding dusserdorf as a location triggers
the issue)

You can workaround it by going to a VT and do
$ gsettings reset org.gnome.clocks world-clocks

Thanks.

I think you will find IsViewable for iconic windows is an intentional
design decision, even if not strictly compliant. But we will also wait
and see what upstream says.

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Taking an area screenshot (Shift+Print Screen) of an application that
spans two monitors results in the screenshot containing a black band
where one screen ends and the other begins.

[Bug 1827738] Re: Wrong X Window Map State

2019-05-07 Thread tombert
Also the documentation you point to states:

Once a client's window has left the Withdrawn state, the window will be
mapped if it is in the Normal state and the window will be unmapped if
it is in the Iconic state.

I requested further clarification:

[Bug 1827996] Re: Package gvfs-backends depends on gvfs 1.36.1-0ubuntu1.3 but there is already 1.36.1-0ubuntu1.3.1

2019-05-07 Thread przemo_li
Workaround:

sudo apt install gvfs-backends=1.36.1-0ubuntu1.3 gvfs=1.36.1-0ubuntu1.3
gvfs-libs=1.36.1-0ubuntu1.3 gvfs-common=1.36.1-0ubuntu1.3 gvfs-
bin=1.36.1-0ubuntu1.3 gvfs-daemons=1.36.1-0ubuntu1.3

Few extra packages compared to my bug reports come from "REMOVED"
section of apt install if I only provided deps from bug report output.
Added them to avoid any removals.
