[Bug 1870628] Re: Authentication required window after startup
Thank you for your bug report. Could you make a screenshot of the prompt and add your 'journalctl -b 0' log to the bug after getting the issue. If you use autologin it's expected that your keyring isn't automatically unlocked since you didn't enter your password, the question is to know why that's happening at login. Note that you can set an empty password to the keyring which lowers the security but would avoid the prompting ** Changed in: gnome-keyring (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: gnome-keyring (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete ** Changed in: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-keyring in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1870628 Title: Authentication required window after startup To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-keyring/+bug/1870628/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1870958] [NEW] Volume keys does not always produce a sound
You have been subscribed to a public bug: When I press a keyboard sound volume key to increase or decrease the volume, I normally hear a beep. On Ubuntu 18.04, I had a sound for every increase/decrease of the volume. On Ubuntu 20.04 Development Release, sometimes there is no beep, especially when you press these keys multiple times with a period less than one second. This new behavior is annoying because the beep adds value to indicate to the user how loud/quiet is the current volume setting. I think the bug is independent of the Sound them. I tested with Yaru and Ubuntu sound theme. [Bug 1870922] [NEW] GUI Scaling does not work with multiple monitors
You have been subscribed to a public bug: When changing the GUI scaling factor on a multiple monitor setup the monitors all just go blank and then revert to the previous values. Changing the scaling factor manually in the config file does not work either, it causes all monitors to go blank as well. I observed that it is trying to set a mode "null", here is the line from the Xorg log: `NVIDIA(0): Setting mode "NULL"` I have initially noticed this after upgrading from Ubuntu 19.10 to 20.04 and my screens would all be just blank after the system has booted up. I had to delete the monitor configuration files manually via SSH to get a screen output in xorg again. [Bug 1771880] Re: Seahorse unable to import pkcs12 certificates
The keys I was trying to import into Seahorse were located in an encrypted container (mounted, obviously). As I cannot influence (or haven't learned how to influence) the standard file modes when mounting said container, they all had 0700 as file mode, including the .pub files I had generated based on that AskUbuntu answer. Once I copied them over to ~/.ssh they popped up immediately in Seahorse. So it's definitely not the file format that is/was the issue here. Either it's the file mode, a certain expectation of what it ought to be or it's the fact that the keys I was trying to import weren't in ~/.ssh; or something else altogether?! ... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-keyring in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1771880 Title: Seahorse unable to import pkcs12 certificates To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/seahorse/+bug/1771880/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1771880] Re: Seahorse unable to import pkcs12 certificates
Fascinating, I am seeing this exact same issue with SSH keys. When using ssh-add these keys will load into the agent without a problem, but I cannot import them into Seahorse. The files have been generated with OpenSSH, but their file names aren't following the standard id_ and id_.pub pattern ... I also followed the advice from that AskUbuntu answer to generate accompanying .pub files, but that didn't work either. Seahorse also outright refused to import the id_ed25519, whereas the id_rsa worked previously. This seems at least inconsistent.
