[Bug 1925379] [NEW] Auto-Correct in LibreOffice does not work with 3.24.25-1ubuntu4

2021-04-25 Thread Launchpad Bug Tracker
You have been subscribed to a public bug:

I just did a fresh install of Ubuntu 21.04 (smooth as silk), but then
discovered that Auto-Correct in LibreOffice does not work. Yesterday,
when I was still running 20.04, Auto-Correct worked fine -- same
LibreOffice version, same LibreOffice profile, same LibreOffice
document, and no changes on my part to my LibreOffice settings since I
installed Ubuntu 21.04.

** Affects: gtk+3.0 (Ubuntu)

[Bug 1181666] Re: gnome-shell randomly blocks mouse clicks from working in app windows

2021-04-25 Thread Legendary Nacar
in Ubuntu 20.04; if my mouse is grabbed by a vm and I try to take a
screenshot via "Screenshot" - default snipping tool in "Select area to
grab" mode-, as I click the "Take Screenshot" button, my mouse icon
switches to snip mode but then mode selection window reappears as
pressed "ESC" button. In my experience, this behavior appears if your
mouse drops to a vm which had already grabbed your mouse.

if you move your mouse to the top bar or side bar, your mouse icon
switches to snip mode but it is false positive since when you click it
just does not function. And if you click "Take Screenshot" button again,
even you successfully take a snap, your click function that brings
windows forward, disappears. So, lets say if I use double monitor and
each has a window on the front. If I click other window to interact etc,
it wont do any good. I can not get my keyboard and mouse in the focus of
another window. Also at this point, I can not use top right bar features
as well.

What I can do is, use ALT+TAB to switch windows. And by this was, I can
switch the focus and interact with my mouse and keyboard.

I might remember wrong but this was not happening in 18.04.

I hope this is fixed soon cuz I really get myself into this trap often,
especially if I use double vm which I control each on different
monitors. I must remember to use "CTRL+ALT" combo to let loose my mouse
from vm's.

This is the second VM related issue which I got this year.

+ [SRU 缾] Update to 20201225 (to support missing emojis from unicode 13.1)

** Changed in: fonts-noto-color-emoji (Ubuntu)
Status: In Progress => Fix Released

** Changed in: fonts-noto-color-emoji (Ubuntu)
Assignee: Marco Trevisan (Treviño) (3v1n0) => (unassigned)

** Description changed:

  [ Impact ]

Many new emoji supported by various social platforms are not currently
visible in Ubuntu 20.04, because of old font (even though the shipped
  ICU supports this version).

  here's a list for Unicode 13 and Unicode 13.1:
- - https://emojipedia.org/emoji-13.0/
- - https://emojipedia.org/emoji-13.1/
+  - https://emojipedia.org/emoji-13.0/
+  - https://emojipedia.org/emoji-13.1/

  [ Test case ]

This sentence should end asking "what do you want?" in the Italian way:
  奈

  [ Regression potential ]

Emoji using a different composition not supported by 20.04 may show as
multiple icons instead than as a single emoji.

No emoji are shown when they used to be visible.

This is easily comparable using https://unicode.org/emoji/charts/full-
emoji-list.html where "Google" should match "Browser".

python3-nototools has no rdepends and the only one Build-Depend is
fonts-noto-color-emoji itself, so updating it has no effect either. Even
though in this case is not needed.

The design of some icons has been updated (compare browser with google
columns at https://i.imgur.com/HkA3kOz.jpg), overall the look is
- consistent though and given that these are not part of any core
- component it's not something that needs an UFe.
+ consistent though and given that these are not part of any documentation
+ or relevant component it's not something that needs an UFe.

  --

Note: Building the package with focal version of nototools is fine
because fonts-noto-color-emoji depends on newer version only for tests
and metadata checks which is not needed by our builds.

This can be easily checked by diffing the resulting ttf extracting the
data with ttx, which is in fact matching (for what it concerns real
  data).

[Bug 1926088] [NEW] Appearance: Window colors selection does not work

2021-04-25 Thread Christian Weiske
Public bug reported:

When clicking on one of the "window colors" (Light, Standard, Dark) in
the Appearance section of gnome control center, nothing changes.

The window background stays light, the top window bar stays light.

Using gnome tweaks tool to change the appearance works, and then
changing the "window colors" once works (sets colors back to default).
All further color changes do not work.

[Bug 1926075] [NEW] Dock hidden after unlocking screen with multiple monitors

2021-04-25 Thread Florian Bach
Public bug reported:

I'm running Ubuntu 20.04 with gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock version
68ubuntu1~20.04.1.

I have multiple monitors (three) connected to my Ubuntu machine, and
I've set the middle screen as the "main" one (the one where the Dock and
the top bar are displayed on).

When I have an application running in Fullscreen (for example, Chromium)
on the middle monitor where the dock is, everything is working as
intended. I can lock the screen, unlock it again, and everything is like
I left it.

If I do the same thing (application in fullscreen) on the right monitor,
everything works just fine, too.

However, if I run a fullscreen application on the left monitor, then
lock and unlock the screen, the dock on the middle monitor is gone. The
top bar (the one that says "Activities", the application name, current
date & time, ...) is still present, but the dock is gone. I either need
to disable fullscreen in the application that's on the left screen, or I
click on the "Activities" button to open the app drawer.
