[Bug 1940532] Re: [impish live session] gnome-shell crashed with SIGSEGV in libX11.so.6.4.0
Thanks again. That confirms the crash happens only in the live session on: gnome-shell --sm-disable --mode=ubiquity but it also confirms the crash is unreportable because "Invalid core dump". [Bug 1926104] Re: Ubuntu software center lists Wesnoth as proprietary
There is no appstream metainfo file installed (so far, I noticed that upstream ships one so I'll install it in the future). Finding that out was quite a huge digging around, it's not well documented or visible. The package though is in Debian main/Ubuntu Universe, and thus implicitly is clearly free software. So the software center not recognising those sections seems to be a flaw in the way the software center tags packages where it can't find a metainfo file. ** Changed in: wesnoth-1.14 (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Triaged -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-software in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1926104 Title: Ubuntu software center lists Wesnoth as proprietary To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-software/+bug/1926104/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

I have no clue how that is chosen. Where does that come from, is there something within the package to do, because I wouldn't know how the software center decides that. [Bug 1933027] Re: Gdm3 with smartcard asks for login/smartcard pin even if there is no smartcard authentication enabled
wastrel, you're my saviour! I wouldn't discover that there is an option in ages! I think this should be the default, actually, because as I've stated if sssd is not configured in the system we should use passwords, and if system administrator configures proper smartcard authentication only then should there be an option to forbid passwords. Actually, it looks even more strange that current option is sssd- exclusive when you can just unplug the key and get a password prompt anyway. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1933027 Title: Gdm3 with smartcard asks for login/smartcard pin even if there is no smartcard authentication enabled To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdm3/+bug/1933027/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
