2021-09-25 Thread Paul White
We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all
reported bugs in a timely manner.

The upstream bug report was closed on 2020-11-06 as "RESOLVED OBSOLETE"
as it has not seen any activity for some time (since 2011). I'm closing
this bug report as it has also seen no activity since 2009.

If anyone still sees an issue when using GNOME Flashback in a currently
maintained release of Ubuntu then please let us know so that the bug
report can be re-opened and reported against the appropriate packages
and/or projects.

[Bug 684807] Re: There is no easy way to make a partition automatically mount on boot

2021-09-25 Thread Paul White
Further to comment #7 I'm belatedly closing the Papercuts task as "Won't

Any successful request will in due course find its way into Ubuntu.

[Bug 1939136] [NEW] After full screen app quits, native desktop resolution is not restored

2021-09-25 Thread Launchpad Bug Tracker
You have been subscribed to a public bug:

[Problem]
1. Install atari800-jz package from Ubuntu Software.
2. Run Atari800 emulator
3. Press ALT-F so that Atari800 goes full screen
4. Quit emulator - press F9 (or ALT-F again and make it crash-quit)
4. Desktop is stuck emulator resolution and user is unable to do anything about
it. Clicking on battery icon will not display Power Off/Log out option due to
small resolution. Only option then is to press CTRL+ALT+DEL and log out this
way.

[Workarounds]
Have a Settings app running with Display tab selected and placed on top left
screen corner. Once emulator quits - change resolution manually.

[Environment]
Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS with all updates installed
Gnome 3.36.8

[Bug 1945063] [NEW] Ubuntu Dock Bug with window minimize when having Dock at the bottom

2021-09-25 Thread motang
Public bug reported:

Running Ubuntu 21.10 (I know it is still not released, but wanted to test it).
I noticed that there a bug where when you have the Dock at the bottom and you
launch an app, which minimizing it it won’t minimize to the bottom as it still
thinks the Dock is off to the left. Once you change work spaces then only does
the app realize that the dock is at the bottom of the screen. Please see
attached video.
