[Bug 1992350] Re: Terminal close after sleep mode
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It sounds like some part of the system has crashed. To help us find the cause of the crash please follow these steps: 1. Look in /var/crash for crash files and if found run: ubuntu-bug YOURFILE.crash Then tell us the ID of the newly-created bug. 2. If step 1 failed then look at https://errors.ubuntu.com/user/ID where ID is the content of file /var/lib/whoopsie/whoopsie-id on the machine. Do you find any links to recent problems on that page? If so then please send the links to us. Please take care to avoid attaching .crash files to bugs as we are unable to process them as file attachments. It would also be a security risk for yourself. ** Package changed: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) => ubuntu ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1992350 Title: Terminal close after sleep mode To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1992350/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1992346] [NEW] Fractional scaling settings lost on VM window resizing or logout
You have been subscribed to a public bug: I'm running Ubuntu 22.04.1 on VirtualBox latest release for quite some time. Recently switched from 2560x1440 to 3840x2160 monitor resolution, which forced me to enable 125% fractional scaling. Using default wayland server, the scaling will be reset to 100% every time I do a logout or change the resolution, e.g. (dis-) connecting the external monitor. [Bug 1991639] Re: Mouse cursor graphics is misaligned by 1 pixel horizontally
In the attachment in comment #1, "actual" is correct and "expected" is incorrect. It's the hotspot of a cursor which must stay on screen at all times, not every pixel of the bitmap. And the hotspot of an arrow cursor for example is typically the internal point of the arrow, not the outermost pixels. I don't know of any utilities to display this cleanly but the file format is defined in https://www.x.org/archive/X11R7.7/doc/man/man3/Xcursor.3.xhtml which also defines the offset within the bitmap which is the hotspot ("xhot", "yhot"). ** Package changed: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) => ubuntu ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1991639 Title: Mouse cursor graphics is misaligned by 1 pixel horizontally To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1991639/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
