I've written a thumbnailer bash script, that uses imagemagick if it's installed, if not, totem-gstreamer-video-thumbnailer. Unfortunately, the latter puts film strips or film rolls in the image, giving the user the impression that the file is a video, not a document. Any one know how I could disable this behaviour? [Bug 281812] [NEW] gdmsetup has duplicate style options for Themed
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gdm Under the local tab of gdmsetup, or Login Window preferences, there are four options for Style: - Plain - Plain with face browser - Themed - Themed with face browser The last two options are actually identical, and thus confusing to the user. gdmsetup does not filter the themes based on whether they have face browsers or not, depending on the style selected. Furthermore, if a user selects a gdm theme, gdm will display the face browser depending on the theme itself, not depending on the which one of the last two styles the user has selected, so the distinction is irrelevant.
