[Bug 593058] Re: nautilus-connect-server doesn't accept command line arguments

2010-06-14 Thread Finog
Well, I dug around, but couldn't figure out how to add it. nautilus-
connect-server doesn't seem to be a component you can report bugs for.

[Bug 593058] [NEW] nautilus-connect-server doesn't accept command line arguments

2010-06-12 Thread Finog
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

The nautilus-connect-server application doesn't accept command line
arguments.

For someone who's collapsed the Places menu like me but still using
Nautilus for browsing folders, it would be handy to be able to use the
terminal to make a connection or maybe _many_ connections at once!

It seems like a simplistic way of expanding the functionality of the
application without sacrificing its simplicity for the GUI-user.

[Bug 481029] [NEW] Directory contents don't update when working with sftp

2009-11-11 Thread Finog
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

When I use the Places-Connect To Server... functionality (thereby
opening an sftp connection to a remote machine) and move stuff to that
machine, open directory windows (or the Desktop) don't automatically
update to show that a file has been added. Similarly, when I move a file
from the remote machine, my directory windows don't update to reflect
that the file no longer exists on the remote machine.

[Bug 430435] Re: Evolution Contacts Category Mass Add/Remove

2009-09-27 Thread Finog
Apologies, I wasn't sure where to put this.

I imagine the right-click context menu having an Add/Remove Category
button which would bring up the Categories dialog from the Add Contact
menu. In Add-mode, selection of categories would add the selections to
the selected contact's category listings (if not already present)
whereas removal would remove the categories (if present).

[Bug 430435] [NEW] Evolution Contacts Category Mass Add/Remove

2009-09-15 Thread Finog
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

We're hoping to use Evolution as our mail client at our non-profit and
have quite a large mailing list to deal with. It would be nice to use
categories as a means of simplifying the list, but, alas, Categories
cannot be set/removed from contacts en masse - the user is forced to
edit each contact individually. A mass-edit feature would be much
appreciated.
